Conspiracy theories abound for 9/11

There are 5 comments on the Albert Lea Tribune story from May 31, 2011, titled Conspiracy theories abound for 9/11. In it, Albert Lea Tribune reports that:

I like a good conspiracy or conspiracy theory as much as the next person. After all, I am an Army veteran, and when I was in the Persian Gulf, all of us soldiers would kick around conspiracy theories, from the gas-inducing bromide pills the Army gave us over there to the desert exercises we took part in prior to Saddam Hussein ever invading Kuwait.

Wackenhut Worries
THE SS is alive and well and LIVING IN AMERICA
A company with a sketchy record has quietly taken over deportation duties from the Border Patrol

The daily transportation of thousands of illegal immigrants back into
Mexico has been turned over to a private company that was fired last
year for botching security at the headquarters of the Department of
Homeland Security.

The choice to hire Wackenhut Corporation--which also runs three
detention facilities in Arizona--is sending a shudder through
immigrant-rights circles, where advocates say the company's past of
prisoner neglect and abuse should disqualify it from working in a
sensitive border area.

The change took place quietly last October in Tucson and involves the
nation's entire border with Mexico as part of a five-year,$250 million
deal between the United States Customs and Border Protection agency and
Wackenhut, the domestic subsidiary of the U.K.-based security giant
Group 4 Securicor. ... The new force of Private armies offering a whole host of hi-tec services for the US are increasing in scope though the majority of contracts still go to Dyncorp CSC, and the wonderful world of the Wackenhut Corporation now owned by Group 4. Like Dyncorp, it is forever in the news usually due to one scandal after another where its cover inevitably runs up against a few humanitarian and democratic obstac

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life." ...

The eugenics movement did not end with the program in Winston Salem. In 1950 and 1951, John Foster Dulles led John D. Rockefeller III on a world tour, focusing on the need to stop the expansion of the non-white populations. In the fall of 1952, Rockefeller and Dulles established the Population Council with money from the Rockefeller fortune. The American Eugenics Society soon moved its Yale University headquarters into the offices of the Population Council. The two groups then merged. Dr. Herndon became president of the American Eugenic Society in 1953, and its work continued to expand with money from the Rockefellers.

In the early 1950s, Gordon Gray, a close friend and frequent golfing partner of Prescott Bush was appointed as the first director of the Psychological Strategy Board under Eisenhower. Later in 1958, Gray became National Security Advisor to Eisenhower. Gray’s son, C. Bowden served as George Bush's (Prescott's son) legal counsel throughout the evolving Iran-Contra scandal. ...

The CIA seemed to have the most (and best) motives for the elimination of Kennedy. During the Eisenhower presidency, the CIA came up with a plan to invade Cuba at the Bay of Pigs. The thought was that the citizens would hear of the attack and join in to overthrow Castro. Former Cubans were trained by the CIA and the U.S. government fur- nished them with weapons and transportation. Since it was near the end of his administration, Eisenhower put the plan on hold so the new president would not have to deal with any problems which might arise from the mission.
