I have 2 pennies i found in my house previously owned by my great grandmother. one is from 1935 (pre-WWII) with the markings ONE CENT on the back it doesnt have the Lincoln memorial like the new ones do. I also have one from 1944 with the same marking on the back. I am trying to figure out if they are worth anything. If you have any knowledge about collectible coins please let me know. Thank you.
Just a suggestion

Your 1935 and 1944 are the original Lincoln Cent design. You don't mention a mintmark (a D or S below the date) so I am assuming your coins are from the Philadelphia mint. Neither coin is rare with mintages in excess of 245 million for the 1935 and 1 billion for the 1944. Value in this case is dependent upon the condition of the coins. If they show even the slightest wear they are worth a few cents. They perhaps have more sentimental value being from your great-grandmothers home than any value to a collector.
