I have 2 pennies i found in my house previously owned by my great grandmother. one is from 1935 (pre-WWII) with the markings ONE CENT on the back it doesnt have the Lincoln memorial like the new ones do. I also have one from 1944 with the same marking on the back. I am trying to figure out if they are worth anything. If you have any knowledge about collectible coins please let me know. Thank you.

Your 1935 and 1944 are the original Lincoln Cent design. You don't mention a mintmark (a D or S below the date) so I am assuming your coins are from the Philadelphia mint. Neither coin is rare with mintages in excess of 245 million for the 1935 and 1 billion for the 1944. Value in this case is dependent upon the condition of the coins. If they show even the slightest wear they are worth a few cents. They perhaps have more sentimental value being from your great-grandmothers home than any value to a collector.
