I live in Montgomery County, about 90 miles North of this area. My wife and I have been sort of surprised with all the Red Wing Black Birds we have now. Before we had a few but now there are a bunch.

Got some very large flocks of red wings up here in MI. They are gathering and should be leaving in the next few weeks as the cold weather moves in. I hope your birds just moved to a different area until the vegetation recovers.
