After last month, I have change my mind about having Wal-Mart Supercenter in Red Bluff. 3/4 of the time I go to Wal-mart, They are out or don't have the things I am looking for. I bought two 32" t.v's and they are both in the shop. I have not even had these t.v.'s for a year. They don't even keep the shelves stock. How can they keep the larger store, stocked, cleaned, and have everything the Red Bluff people need. Wal-Mart only care about quantity not quality. Thank god for Raley's and Walgreen..

Utterly stupid. The sound of cars or trucks going by isn't going to damage anyone over the long run.
Think about it...
If you're asleep you don't hear anything. Most people work about 8 hours a day (meaning you're away from your home that much time or more at least 5 days a week. Then there are all the other times during the week when you're not sitting around home and awake listening. And I think the major complaint by these people is about the noise of the Wal-Mart trucks... so what are the chances, or how many times a week, that you'll actually be near the store to hear them? VERY minimal I'd say.
These people are just haters of Wal-Mart as a store and institution and are clearly grasping at straws and scraping the bottom of the barrel in their feeble attempts to keep the store away from that location and out of Red Bluff. A very stupid thing to do in these times of hardship for many people. Why in the world would you want to risk turning away so many jobs for so many people in this small town?
Stop this foolishness (and selfishness) already.

Ironic that one complaint from opponents is high noise from trucks and yet you complain they don't keep the shelves stocked(not enough truck deliveries). The amswer is simple, the smaller the store the less deliveries it gets. The less deliveries, the greater the chance of things being out of stock.

Enough already!! Are the people filing suit here actually "paying" for the costs? Endless lawsuits wasting court time and dollars better spent on things that have merit. I suppose you people can continue to throw your tantrums and make rediculous ascertions about cancer and the sky falling if WalMart comes to town, but they will come to town because people WANT them to! Grow up people!

Amen to C Hamill! These people are WASTING everyones time and money and it is pathetic and selfish. We have worse things in Red Bluff to worry about like gangs and drugs, not Wal-Mart!! Get a grip!!

Wal Mart is so big who can fight it?
The ones fighting it would shop there I guarantee you- if they are honest about it.
CONVENIENCE IS EVERYTHING IN TODAYS SOCIETY.
