Not to mention, New Days, that even if they have English names, that doesn't mean they were made in America (i.e. Mew Mew Power was originally named Tokyo Mew Mew in Japan, One Piece was spelled using Japanese characters "ワン ピー&# 12473;" or "Wan Pīsu", and Yu-Gi-Oh litteraly translates to "King of Games")

Although, I did watch an anime called Case Closed, and didn't realize it was Japanese until I found out that it's original name was "Meitantei Conan" or "Detective Conan"

Also, just because you hate subtitles, doesn't mean it's "Un-American" to watch it in Japanese. We just prefer the original to the heavily censored, heavily modified English versions.

You know you prefer subtitles. But dubbing anime in America is suppose to be appropriate to Americans because or violent scenes or even alcohol. Anyway, that's because American dubbing company dubbed the heavily censored, heavily modified anime shows doesn't mean that dub sucked. I watch the the heavily censored, heavily modified English dubbed anime on television and I have no problem watching it. That's because I grew up with the the heavily censored, heavily modified English dub anime that was on TV which is why I enjoy watching the heavily censored, heavily modified English dubbed anime shows like Digimon. LOL. I hate subtitled anime. Either way, I miss TV dubbed heavily censored, heavily modified English versions of anime programs. English music, English opening songs and heck kids will enjoy watching heavily censored, heavily modified English dubbed anime. Of course the English voices are horrible i my opinion. But I still love crappy English dub voices. That's why anime outside of Japan really needs to be big again. I'm sick and tired of focusing on anime in Japan. Too much Japan and international anime keeps losing the dubbing performances. That's why I will never trust subtitled anime again. English dub anime in general like One Piece and Naruto needs to be big in North America again. That's why there's 4Kids dubs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon.:)

Nah, anime, in America, needs to STOP being so censored, modified, and just plain crappy, and America should strive, finally, in it's, short, downwardly spiraling educational history, to alter it's one dimensional, mono-linguistic, and embarrassingly un-curious mind-set.

EVOLUTION WILL COME, through one form of natural selection,

OR((((ANOTHER)))).

Alright, I get it. You and every other freaking American grew up with the same crap. But that doesn't mean you should focus on making that better, just because it's "More American" than Foreign anime.

I honestly understand where you're coming from. But it's not Japan's fault that anime isn't as popular in America. And technically (as I've said before) since most Anime starts in Japan, without Japanese anime, there'd be no American Anime in the first place.
