Jesse probably got himself into too many headlocks during his wrestling career given some of the conspiracy opinions that he offers. On the other hand, I do agree with his suggestion that we bring back the draft for our supply of troops rather than just relying on the regular and reserve military forces to serve multiple tours in harm's way, especially, the reserve forces. It would be interesting to see how many of the right wing let's go in and kill him all proponents would be scrambling for ways to be excluded or having their children excluded from the draft. Yesirree, Bob! I am sure that many of our right wing let's nuke em all friends would be standing there wrapped in the flag, of course, and waving good by to the poor suckers who had been drafted, probably just some good old Democrats and liberals anywa so who cares, when they headed off into harm's way. I think that is basically Jesse's point on this issue, that is, if it is so important for the US to be here or there or everywhere to protect American or whatever, they by gosh everyone should have an equal chance of being drafted to help the cause. Good for Jesse!!! Note: we recently elected a new city councilman here in Roseville who covered his political signs in a flag that was bigger than his name. When I asked him about his military background, he said that he had never served, of course (very predictable), but that he did want to pat me and others who had served on the back for doing that. What an absolute insult to the men and women who have served and whoa re serving in the armed forces of the US.

The 300 pound infant was a wash-out as an entertainer before the voters of minnesota transformed him into a somebody--to their eventual regret.

Back to a wash-out...

I do love Jesse, even though I don't take him seriously on too many things. He's entertaining, and I think the show sounds like it could work from an entertainment perspective. It kind of reminds me of the "In Search Of" series which ran several years ago.

What a joke! They are promoting him because people think he's a joke and that way they will watch the show. I wouldn't watch it if it was the only show on TV. If he actually had a brain with this whole series then it might be interesting but you know it's just stupid.

CBO: 600K to 1.6M Employed By Stimulus

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1259640038439...

The Congressional Budget Office late Monday said it estimates that the federal stimulus package sustained between 600,000 and 1.6 million jobs in the third quarter, and raised gross domestic product by 1.2 to 3.2 percentage points higher than it would have been without the program.

more at online.wsj.com ...

----------

These stats are total B.S. but checkout the math for some real fun.
787 billion / 600,000 =$1,311,666.67

So, each job "saved" cost 1.3 million. I think this could be classified as a screaming waste of money.

And how many are in non-existent congressional districts?

I belive this just like I believe that Obamacare is "deficit neutral".

I will fully support Jesse Ventura if he ever decides to run for presidency in 2012.
He is straightforward, honest, sincere, compassionate and abvoe all, has lots and lots of common sense.
He is never afraid of asking questions.
He cuts through all the BS that is so prevalent among today's so-called politicians.
We need Jesse Ventura now more than ever.
Run, Jesse, run in 2012.

What a frickin moron. I'd love to see this retread debate Palin, when Palin kicks his a@@, then we'd finally see that this blow hard is nothing more than a money hungry idiot. His big mouth is the only thing he has going, shouting people down is his tactic of over powering his disenders.

The same reason they show police chases. It's an accident waiting to happen and it gets ratings. Although James Janos' last show didn't do very well.

Jesse thinks 9/11 was an inside job. Would you really want someone like that as your president?

Actually, a debate between those two would be really lively and interesting. Definitely one that I would watch! A Libertarian and an ultra-conservative Republican aren't really that far off each other's mark except when it comes to religion. Jesse calls himself independent, but I think he's pretty squarely aligned with Libertarianism, isn't he?

How many episodes of this new show have to be made for it to be considered a success? Whatever that number is, it's unlikely it will be reached.

This dolt had the best chance of finally establishing a viable 3rd party in this country by being elected to our governorship. He opted to use his position to fullfill his idiotic pipe dreams thus by making a fool of himself in front of the citizens of Minnesota and the rest of this country.

He continues to play the dolt on his latest endeavor.

That may be the unkindest cut of all--that he made the two party politicians seem more sensible.

I was amused by the headline where someone reading a script in front of a camera is called an investigator.
