Travelling near Easter
Both are busy. But since so many are going for the celebrations you might be better off the week ending in Easter. via Lonely Planet

The week preceeding and including Easter 2008 (March 23) is Semana Santa when everyone, literally, in Honduras traditionally goes to beach destinations.
Prices in some places are double or more if you can get reservations and minimum stays are required.
In addition to the Hondurans, travelers from El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua travel to Honduras to enjoy its Caribbean beaches. This is all on top of the normal North American snow bird population.
You are better off coming the week following Easter. The beach destinations are barren the day after Easter and prices go back to normal.
