The Republicans should propose a 80% tax rate on the New York bankers and the Silicon Valley left wing elite.
.
They think more taxes will solve everything, lets prove it with them.
.
The 80% rate should be with no deductions.

Seems to me that the Problem is that the Executive Branch refuses to honor agreements. Why are we in this situation anyway? Isn't it because the President again spent more than he had agreed to. And, it's not as if that agreement had a very firm foundation inthefirst place, considering it was an agreement to spend trillions more than we had.

Obama has some nerve talking about honoring obligations. Actually, he's the one who has demonstrated his word is worthless.

American Banana Republic

‘This is the United States of America,” declared President Obama to the burghers of Liberty, Mo., on Friday.“We’re not some banana republic.”

He was talking about the Annual Raising of the Debt Ceiling, which glorious American tradition seems to come round earlier every year.“This is not a deadbeat nation,” President Obama continued.“We don’t run out on our tab.” True. But we don’t pay it off either. We just keep running it up, ever higher. And every time the bartender says,“Mebbe you’ve had enough, pal,” we protest,“Jush another couple trillion for the road. Set ’em up, Joe.” And he gives you that look that kinda says he wishes you’d run out on your tab back when it was $23.68.

Still, Obama is right. We’re not a banana republic, if only because the debt of banana republics is denominated in a currency other than their own — i.e., the U.S. dollar. When you’re the guys who print the global currency, you can run up debts undreamt of by your average generalissimo. As Obama explained in another of his recent speeches,“Raising the debt ceiling, which has been done over a hundred times, does not increase our debt.” I won’t even pretend to know what he and his speechwriters meant by that one, but the fact that raising the debt ceiling “has been done over a hundred times” does suggest that spending more than it takes in is now a permanent feature of American government. And no one has plans to do anything about it. Which is certainly banana republic-esque.

From Sen. Obama’s Floor Speech, March 20, 2006:

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.… Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

These deadbeat cons, sent to DC, ran up the bills and now they don't want to pay them. No wonder so many red states are poverty-stricken and floundering.

Who had the House from '54 to '94? Who had the House from '06 to '10? We have enough blame to go around! This mess took about 80 years to get where we are now!

The majority of people in the US, increasing numbers of unions, hospitals, doctors, medical staff, increasing numbers of businesses and the US debt do not want the Affordable Care Act. It's a 1600 page lie and has always been a lie.

How do you explain the "blue" states like Kalifornia that are in the shi**er?

How about major "blue" cities like Detroit - run into the ground by 50+ years of democrap rule?

BTW, Detroit isn't even floundering any longer. That fish is dead.

The economy seems to be doing so well some people plays golf and makes several millions for 1 tournament and for their vital services to the public golf enthusiasts. Here's how to make the economy really rock under Obamacare... charge tolls for people leaving their driveways. Have a uniformed, data collecting agent collect money any time you want to leave home. The transgender can ask your children if they're sexually active.

Bullshit..........

Unemployement officially at 8.9%(more likely 19% in reality) and what do we promote as a state:

1. Increase in minimum wage

2. Fed: Increase in over time rules for employees in the Caregiver industry

3. California wants to increase the Unemployment insurance rate paid by employers

4. Workers Compensation rates going up by 20% plus per year on annual basis

5. Constantly encouraging low skilled and sick populations to move to our state

BTW: Anyone who knows basic math understands that you cannot "ADD" jobs and still have an increase in the unemployment rate unless you are making exceptions for whole groups of long term unemployed.

Ricardo Lopez.........LA Times.

You're still clueless about economics, nutball.

Schwarztie had to chop billions out of the budget and part of the surplus came from a one time tax windfall.
.
By the way, the state tax increase can be deducted off of federal taxes so that means a tax revenue loss to the federal government.
.
Obama wants to reduce that deduction which means those rich Silicon Valley types that want to share the wealth will actually have to pay more in taxes, not shift them around.

California got Silicone Valley BECAUSE of Reagonomics, crap for brains. hahahahahaha'

California's budget surplus is almost certainly the result of wealthy Californians trying to bank capital gains before the Bush tax cuts expired, Nagourney says.

California is trying to figure out how to "spend" it..typical democrat BS. Use it to pay off the deficit, moonbeam. Maybe you'll get out of debt in 20 years.

State budget surplus won't last forever
