After more than a decade of trying to convince everyone that this area should be known as the Lehigh Valley, airport officials have decided the rest of the country just isn't buying it - at least not those who fly.

The supporting argument is weak. This ABE stuff is just a giant step backwards in the Lehigh Valley identification goal. Anyone who flies knows that lots of other airports have ID letters that don't match the city or region name - we're only 60 miles from one: EWR, which is now Liberty, and used to be Newark (not "Ewark"). How much did this change cost? Were any of the contractors for the new logo stuff (consulting, artwork, media, letterhead, etc) in any way connected to any local politicians, LVIA board members or employees?

Just put ABE LLC and the corprate bigwigs can claim bankrupty with a pardon. This is a joke lawyers taking money from people that will still owe a debt.
