The coach don't hardly determine a winning drive, not at the high school level at least. I think that happens at home and in pee-wee football, by the time your kid comes to high school he should already have the drive and desire, all the coach needs to bring to the table is a game plan and leadership. You also need the kids to want to succeed, without the want you have no win! Look at CHS for example, they haven't always had the so called best coaches, but they always have a winning football team, very rarely having a season with fewer than 6 wins. I think that starts with fundamentals in the younger years, and believing they can win no matter what. Saltville football has to find the right recipe and run with it. They will be fine but don't expect a quick turn around like at Holston, you have to have a lot of talent at a lot of positions for that to happen, and they don't have it yet, give it 3 or 4 years and get the boy's interest back up and then you can compete.

THIS COULD BE, BUT YOU ARE FORGETTING ONE MAJOR INGREDIANT HERE,,,THE COACHES WON'T LET THE TALENT PLAY THE GAME, THE COACHES THINK THEY HAVE TO TELL THE TALLENTED TEAM HOW TO PLAY.THE COACHES NEED TO GIVE INPUT SOLEY ON BASICS, AND THE PHYSICAL PART AND LET THE TEAM DO THEIR JOB!

I TELL YOU THIS! IF HE DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THESE PEOPLE NEW IT THEY ARE AS GUILTY AS HE IS AND ALL YOUR ASSES NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. THIS IS SICK AS HELL TO KNOW SOMETHING LIKE THIS WAS GOING ON AND NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT. KIDS HAVE LOST THEIR HEALTH AND LIVES AND SO HAVE PARENTS IN THIS SO CALLED SAGA.THINGS LIKE THIS WOULD MAKE ANY BODY HATE WHERE THEY LIVE, AND WHEN PEOPLE READ ABOUT IT, AND EVEN IF THEY BELIEVE THIS OR NOT; WHO IN THE HELL IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER WANT TO MOVE THEIR FAMILY TO A PLACE SO CLOSE TO HELL!! I'M GOING TO BE SEVENTY SOON AND WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE,AND LOVED THIS TOWN AND I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES AND EARS. THIS IS SO SAD PEOPLE, EVERY BODY IN THIS HOLE NEEDS TO PULL TOGETHER AS A FAMILY AND BUILD ANOTHER FOUNDATION OR THE HOLE IS JUST GOING TO GET DEEPER, THEN YOU'LL SEE THE BOTTOM FALL OUT; IT'S CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!

Maybe it was the coach or maybe it wasnt, but we will find out in a very short time. I hope coach frye does good, but realize that he is coaching on varsity level and needs to concentrate on blocking and tackling, then the rest will come.
