Guest, If you knew anything about football you would know, last year when Smith Co. was one of the better teams in the state we still stomped that ass. Now this year we have a great team, its not going to be a blow out, but Smith Co. can't play with Macon Co. this year. Just the facts.

I am tiger blue through and through but I will have to agree with guest. Jo Byrnes is a very small school, although they have been talented the last couple of years. Hartsville is coming up on Friday night, which is 2A by the way. It's awful that throughout the years we focus to hard on beating a school 1/3 our size. With that said thou I have to say I love to beat Hartsville also. H-ville has had a storied program for some time now. 8 state championships and it feels good to beat them. Maybe someday our measuring stick won't be against a 2A team, but for now a win Friday night would be a continued step in the right direction. I love MCHS but I have to be a little more pessimistic. While we were scheduling a 1A school to beat up on on opening night Hartsville was playing a 5A school. I hope that don't come back to haunt us. GO TIGERS

I think my last post said it all, especially after Trousdale county came and rolled us tonight 52-28. As I predicted, our inability to schedule teams to prepare us once again got out butts handed to us. Like I said, Trousdale co. prepared by going to Kentucky and playing a 5a school. MCHS prepared by playing a 1a school and what did we learn. No disrespect but the crowd, the coaching staff, and the players all learned at least one thing, We had no business on the field with Trousdale county. Coach Pembertain after the game took complete responsibility on the post game radio show, well good thing becuase I will continue to be patient with you and your staff only in your second year but for Gods sakes quit scheduling 1a schools to prepare you for a school with 8 state championships and such rich tradition as the yellow jackets. Give them credit where it is due but come on Coach, we won't panic yet but you gotta do better than that. We all know what you done in the past and your qualifications got you the job, but you are getting this big money for not what you did but for what we expect you to do for us. We are not paying for Georgia state championships. We are paying for some Tennessee one, and by the way, maybe not to continue to get ran on the field by our most hated rival. Shake it off and learned from your mistakes. When you schedule next years games lets let RBS practice against a 1A Jo Byrnes and you schedule us someone to prepare us for Hartsville, We are behind you Coach. Come on man

How about teaching your players some discipline coach? You cannot achieve a proper athletic dept without respect and discipline
