La Mirada Starts Summer Football

The La Mirada Matadores resume preparation for the 2012 season with the opening of Summer Football on July 16.

Additionally, the Matadores will be participating in several passing leagues with games scheduled for July 18, July 25 and August 1 at Fullerton HS.

The Matadores open the season hosting the St. Paul Swordsmen on August 24.

Matadores Receiving College Offers

College recruiters have flocked to the La Mirada campus in droves this spring and summer resulting in scholarship offers for the following Matadores as of July 1.

Hawaii, Arkansas, Cal, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Mississippi, Wyoming and Washington State

Tyler Luatua - TE
Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, UCLA, AlabamaOhio State, and Oklahoma are among the 18 schools making offers to Tyler
