I played on the 57-60 teams and know what it like to have poor coaching. " THE COACH" is the best thing to hit SPH. Football made the school and its legion. The problem the kids today are to much like the rest of our society. They want someone to take care of them. Run to momie, teacher, government or the principal. They have no charcater or inter strength. Footbal is not for cry babies. Its like the service it make a MAN out of you or you should get out. How any kids family can afford $5,000 a year to go to school when you can go to public for zero and get better opportunity for scholarships. You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. The enrollment is smaller. Less or no scholarship How can you maintain a program without the horses. Ancich has done an unbelievable job. Look at his % of kids to college and success. One man cannot control everything. The school is going down hill. ITS NO MATER DEI !!! Get off the his back. Did not play for him but wished I did. NO. 84 GO BLUE!!!!

Yes they fired a Freshman coach who was moved up to the varsity. You have to remember that that most of his staff are NOT professional but student player who were good knew the system and then coach for him. The glory years are gone. The cost of tuition is too high and kids can go to public school for nothing. The only thing keeping the school going is the TRADITION and without player that won't last. The bulk of the student body are girls and they don't play football. I had my ASS chewed out when I played badly but NEVER had any haze me.For one thing I was big and I would have knock him on his ass. No 84
