No End in Sight for De La Salle Dominance

Dec 19, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Patch.com

Short of beating a college team, there's nothing the De La Salle High football team can accomplish that would constitute as surprising.A That includes Saturday's 35-0 shellacking of Westlake , the supposed best team in Southern California, in the California State Open Division Bowl game.

I agree!! It's been 22 years since a team in Contra
Costa County has beaten them. Not only do the Spartans from Concord California have the best team in the State year in & year out but they are the Face of High School Football Nationally. The school opened up about 35 years ago in Concord & after losing about 12 games the 1st two years they've went on to have a record of about 375 wins & 29 losses since they opened the school.Bob Laudeceur is the head coach please forgive the spelling the Football team has & WILL TRAVEL anywhere in the nation to play
anybody. The Spartans student body totals about 900
all Boy School with not just the Finest Football
Program in the Nation their Players approximately 99% go on to get a College Degree. They are responsible for the interest that has made High School Football what it it is today, with ESPN TELEVISING several hundred games a year on all of their networks.Go Spartans!!! What a Class Act.

Los Angeles City Section D1 best could of been the answer for southern California stake in the open state finals.
In 2009 De Antony Thomas was injured in the second half. Before that occurred the courgars were beating the spartans.
In 2012 the Narbonne Gauchos were 14-0 lead by QB troy williams could of beat the spartans. Troy had a saparate shoulder so they loss to Cornona Centennial in the Regional.
.Bob Laudeceur spartans could not match the talent these Los Angeles City Section D1 teams bring to the game.

report: Merry-x-mas
State Championship D1 open:
Bosco vrs De La Salle

Bosco advantage(s) is their huge size on their offense line.
Bosco can score quickly by running or passing and their kick and punt returns.
Bosco QB 6'4" can see the whole field find the open receiver, can pull down the ball and run.
Bosco Coach gets the best out of their players, Receiver fields and running back have sprinters speed.
De La Salle will try to win the line of scrimmage by pushing Bosco lineman quickly all game.
De LA Salle will win one of the halfs by winning the line of scrimmage. De la Salle defense will force two fumbles by the spartan techque of stripping the football.
De La Salle strength is their Linebackers will win most to all battle's by stopping bosco running backs at least a 90% or more of the time, their goal will be stopping bosco running backs making the big play. This will be a huge factor on this game preventing Bosco making big plays. Bosco needs to just move the chains by setting themselves up for short third down taking chances on forth down(s). Bosco defense will have problems stopping De La Salle vear offense for sure. Bosco may find them selfs behind in this game playing catch up if they can"t go toe to toe with the spartans.
The spartans will stop the run making Bosco only success will be the pass. Being forced to pass the chances increase the masrgine for error. De La Salle will get at least two interceptions on bosco passing errors These Turnovers are going to kill bosco. This why Bosco is the under dog, because De La Salle waits for the other team to make mistakes then they capitalizes quickly into touchdowns.
De La Salle will put their efforts in their special teams and have won the battle of the field advantage in the game. Special teams will be in favor to De La Salle over Bosco will try to slow down the spartan machine but have a tough time doing so, will give them a feeling helplessness that Bosco has not felt this in their 15-0 season.
De La Salle offense will control the ball and the tempo that could give them the game.
De La Salle defense will make enough stops that bosco quick strike offense will have to punt three to four times.
Bosco will have to adjust their run offense to pass on first and second downs every other series, run on third and longs every third time. Bosco really going have to change things up on De La Salle or the spartans will narrow thing down on bosco. The spartans will have taken the crowd out of the game. Bosco only chance will be keeping the crowd in the game keeping the bosco chance to win their first open title in the state D1 open Championship.
