Again, all about the chosen few. Quite obviously with them playing the entire game (some on both sides of the ball)the Irish were dead tired while fresh legs (seniors) were left on the sidelines. Coaching staff deserves the loss. At least we can say the "allabout5" era is over. Sorry to the classes that had to endure the 5-man team mentality. Hopefully the program can now return to a more respectable one. Damn shame!

The play that won the game was stopped and the refs never blew a whistle. It was amazing how long it took before the qb fell into the end zone. The play was dead long before the score. It was an odd play for sure. Any other time the whistle blows and the play is over when the pile stops moving.

Also, the seniors that were on the sidelines with the expection of leo skehan, either had no talent or simply did not have the commitment to come to practie and didnt deserve a chance

I forgot he is the only good player...what would they have done without him. Oh right, they were able to win without him.

WOW!!!! Bunch of salty people in this blog! Are you sure you are Catholics? Typical York Catholic crowd! YC has always been one of the schools that play that favoritism stuff in everything they do (not just sports). That is why even though I am a good Catholic; my children do not attend the schools any longer! Bunch of fake hypocrite christians! Yeah with lower case because you guys are not the real deal! Grow up!

"I forgot he is the only good player...what would they have done without him. Oh right, they were able to win without him. ".... yes, it is hard to run the ball and win against the likes of hanover and tech. Run game didnt work all game but yes, if at first you dont succeed try try again, darn too bad that didnt work out in this case

Having played on that team I don't think we had a legitimate shot to win the Super Bowl that year so I haven't lost any sleep over it.

You and i did go to disney world to celebrate though. And you did do a great job at setting up a bunch of my touchdowns. For those two things I mentioned I thank you.

But seriously, whoever those 5 kids were, I'd like to get on the Internet and hide behind a fake name and attack their morals. Because that's what adults do in York County. Lives and hobbies were hard to come by the days after this game as I recall.
