Miracle in the Valley: Crespi gets in, knocks Notre Dame out of playoffs

Full story: LA Daily News

It was, quite literally, the craziest ending to a game the San Fernando Valley has seen in decades, if not forever.

They kicked me out of coaching for cornholing half of the JV wrestling team. It wasn't fair, I was discriminated against just because I am a card carrying member of NAMBLA. Those years in prison were the best years of my life. I miss my ax murdering but buddy Bruce.
Sheesh Coach, don't sugar coat it, tell it like it is.

Absolutely your team played with a lot of heart - hanging 28 points in the first half.
Would you admit that the Celts played with a ton of heart, taking on a 21 point defect in the second half, and their defense not allowing another score?
It was a great game - and in reality what fun is a blowout anyway? Games like the last two just add to the stakes for next year.
See you then, or in basketball season.
Scalia,

Of course your team erased a huge deficit, but the point of my post is that you ran your mouth off quite a bit about a blowout in the preceding days, but this was hardly a blow out. I would say the Celts this year is more formidable on paper than on the field. That said, good luck and represent the Serra league well in the playoffs.

Of course I ran my mouth, and what would a high school football rivalry be without that? It's all in good fun, and that's that, but only if Escalante would show his face, man up, and pay off on the bet we made...he owes the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation $250.00 in the name of Crespi Celts Football.

Yep, it was the best play ever, and I sit on the Notre Dame Camp.
I think what needed to be learned during this season was humility. It is no doubt that ND Kinghts will take its reign next year....Besides, the other guy needs to win.....More importantly, the quarterback who is a great picther did an excellent job this season, and this young team having lost all of the seniors will be well prepared next year.....Being a Freshman into the school which has endure tradegy as well......Makes you realize that what is really important is how you maintain your character. Go Knights!!!! btw, who is that little guy.....he has a memory to last a lifetime.
