I agree!! and since I do live in Idaho Falls I can be biased but I have relatives from California who came when we had our Emotion Bowl and they were astounded that its so big! The great thing about the Emotion Bowl is that the WHOLE community gets involved! One side paints its windows with orange and black while the other side paints their windows blue and white! It's so much fun! It brings the whole community together in a seperate way??:) haha

I grew up in the San Francisco area, saw some good rivalry, by the best by FAR is the Emotion Bowl in ID - Skyline vs. Idaho Falls High. History: In the 1960s a bond was raised to build a football stadium at IFHS with the promise that one would be build at Skyline when they could afford it. 40 years later, they're still sharing a stadium. The name "Emotion Bowl" fits. At the end of the game, the goal posts are painted in the winning school's colors and they remain that color so long as that team remains victorious.

NO Doubt, everything is bigger in Texas! However, try the El Campo Ricebirds vs. Bay City Blackcats rivalry! Just finished their 106th game tonight! EC Wins 38-32 in a nail-biter! Rivalry started in 1911 and is the oldest in the STATE, and one of the most overlooked, yet toughly fought in all of High School Football. May not bring big numbers, but you have to realize the severity. We've had people burn fields, paint water towers, and pin Black-Cats to the 50 yard line!(Not that I suggest any of this) But also neither of these towns have over 12,000 people, and we still manage to get about 6,000 and up to 12,000 confirmed (depends on location, EC football stadium is bigger)

In Michigan, the biggest rivalry is the 4 way rivalry between Clinton township Chippewa Valley, Macomb Township Dakota, Shelby Township Eisenhower and Utica Stevenson. They all belong to the most powerful conference in Michigan (MAC Red) and generally the winner of the conference goes on to the state finals for Eastern Michigan. The total attendence from all 6 games is about 120,000 all together, and few teams can match the amount of city pride these rivalries hold.
However, this probably isn't the largest rivalry in the country.
no need to over exaggerate because everyone in Michigan knows CC vs. BR is the biggest rivalry
