Kansas State runs over Tech 49-26
Texas Tech's shortcomings have shown through for a while now. The Red Raiders can't stop a good rushing offense, can't turn enough red-zone chances into touchdowns and can't get reliable quarterback play from freshmen.

I saw Tech's late season slump before the season started. Kliff Kingsbury has done extremely well, considering the depth he has had to work with. I'm sure that next recruiting season he will give priority to good offensive and defensive linemen. Then, they need at least one good bowling ball-type running back for those third and goal plays from the one yard line. I think I saw one on the highlight clips playing locally--at Shallowater.
Depth is critical in the late season--especially when you play all the powerhouses of the conference in the second half of the season. KK is a very good recruiter, and I think he will get needed help. He does not hesitate to play true freshmen if they have the talent to start, but a few jucos might be indicated at the OL and DL positions.
