Capac,
In case you haven't noticed, the staff of the Times Herald is 100% biased towards Marine City.
The Times Herald is biased towards Marine City for two reasons:
* Marine City High School coaches are made up almost entirely of Italian losers who think they are in the mafia, and the Times Herald has plenty of Italian dago losers who show their bias towards the Marine City dago coaches.
* Marine City plays the weakest competition in the world, especially in football. This is how the MC players are able to gain lots of statistics such as yards rushing, yards passing, etc... The Marine City coach Scarcelli has the worst reputation in the Blue-Water Area for deliberately scheduling weak opponents and making sure to cancel contracts as soon as possible with any non-league school that ended up better than he expected.
In other words, if a school like Sterling Heights (who Scarcelli thought would be an easy win) ends up almost beating Marine City, Scarcelli will make damn sure that Marine City doesn't play that school again.
It was like that throughout Scarcelli's career. Scarcelli enjoyed talking trash about the Port Huron High athletic teams, but once Marine City got the chance to play Port Huron High and lost, Scarcelli no longer liked the idea of setting up a rivalry with a local team.
Same thing with Anchor Bay. The Anchor Bay Tars are 10 minutes from Marine City. But because Anchor Bay won one of the two years in the football contract, Scarcelli insisted that Marine City NOT renew the football contract.
And it was PATHETIC the way Scarcelli was always AFRAID to play Port Huron Northern in football during the 80's and 90's, but as soon as Northern's program was ruined thanks to coach Kuscera it motivated Scarcelli to want to get easy playoff points playing against high-enrollment Port Huron Northern.
Trust me, the Times Herald is 100% biased towards Marine City and their dago coaches, especially during football season!
