I know a lot of people specially women, who suffer from a yeast infection. I only had a milder type which I got from my girlfriend and was gone in about 2 weeks. I treated it with natural remedies which I got from the supermarket like acidophilus yogurt and garlic.
I did a lot of study about yeast infections because my girlfriend often has problems with it and I found a lot of effective home remedies that are more effective from over the counter medications on the long run. Over the counter medications only treat the symptoms but the deeper causes stay unaffected (if you think about it that is logical other vise pharmaceutical companies would`t have any profit).
With severer yeast infections it is really important to balance your diet. Sugar and other simple carbohydrates are feeding the yeast so it can grow. Milder yeast infections are easily treated with some Lactobacillus Acidophilus good bacteria which you can find in many yogurts, with garlic tabs, healing clay, tea tree oilÖ I found some useful tips here: http://yeast-infection-facts.net/HOME%20REMED...
With which home remedies do you have best results?

Steering away from yeast infections could be as easy as practicing good hygiene. I also heard that yogurt, tea tree oil, boric acid, and vitamin C are good natural preventive treatment options against yeast infections. There is added information at http://www.bladdermeshlawsuit.us/transvaginal... that could be of great help to people concerned and interested.

Some of the best yeast infection home remedies are yogurt, garlic, eating fiber rich foods, and foods rich in vitamin C. With a yeast infection you got to treat it inside and out. That means eating the right foods and treating it topically using garlic and yogurt. http://yeasthomemedicine.com/

I suffered from chronic yeast infections in my 30's and used prescription medication for almost a decade. A collegue of mine told me to try baking soda douche. I mixed 1tbsp of baking soda and doueched once a day for 3-4 days in a row until the itching stopped. I am happy to say I have not had a yeast infection in over 20 years!!! http://www.yeastinfectionnatraltreatmenthq.co...

Pinecone extract has shown to fight against yeast. It gets to the root of the problem by supporting the immune system to achieve its own healthy balance. Since yeast will always be with us it is critical to create a healthy immune system that has the ability to keep yeast in a healthy balance too.

Yeast organisms love warm (and moist) environments. Itís best to avoid taking long hot baths or soaking in a hot tub. Also donít wear tight clothing that will prevent air from circulating around the crotch area, especially in the summer.
