Two major inconsistencies in this story. How are you going to ask all those detailed questions when you've already sent your gold through the mail to some guy you don't know and will never see? How is sending your jewelry out and waiting for a check back through the speedy post office faster than walking into a jewelry store and walking out with a check?

Which Pawn Shop is going to offer 90% for the gold customers bring in? Are you NUTS you are lucky to get 70% of what your old stuff is worth .... The refinery is only paying the pawnbroker about 90-95% and then there are melting fee's. BTW Dollars4Gold.com and the other 2 are nothing else but ordinary Pawn Shops around the country they just make it sound great with the advertising they do ... I would be real careful to send to these guys

My question is WHY are there SO many businesses offering to buy gold now that it's at an all time high? My suggestion is to use a business that has been buying gold for years (even in the bad times). Check out your local pawn shop and rest assured that the pawn shops DO check all incoming items, including ID checks, Police Records, a pawnshop is regulated and holds the item(s) for a period to insure it is NOT stolen. Ask that of "new gold buyers, eBay, and second hand stores."
