They come in tracks, not unlike say, the local herion addict's wounds. Very linear. Had the misfortune of renting a house with the bed bug's cousin, the bat bug, and it had a major infestation. As you might suspect, the house had a bat problem. Anyway, they need a magnifying glass to see the differences, but they were not bed bugs but their cousin. Bat bugs are more easily receptive to comon exterminating techniques.
