It was a good article, until Shane Ellison, MS suggests responses to challenge school boards about not vaccinating. Clue one. It's a state law. Going to the school board will get you no where. The only way to challenge it is to get a vaccine waiver. And of course, this Shane Ellison sells a book about natural cures.

Point is, parents need to organize and complain. Letting Pharma dictate through government agencies what their children need is merely a marketing strategy for vaccine sales. Coercion and blackmail through schools is completly planned and should not be used as a weapon.

Tell that to those who contracted polio. It's clear you're too young to remember why such laws were created, and never researched it. And it wasn't Pharma who started those laws. Hello. There really wasn't such a thing as 'pharma' in the late 1800's! It isn't coercion or black mail when any parent can obtain a waiver in all but 2 states. If people don't exercise their right to choice, that aint pharma's fault.

I was around during the last natural polio scares. The issue is not and has never been about preventing illness, its about harming children with vaccines and lying about it. Parents are excecising their judgement and have that right. So why have laws you can get a waiver for? Answer, so those who don't get that or are too afraid of the measles will still vaccinate. HELLO! What Pharma does is maim and kill customers they are suppose to help and protect. They are incompetent and dangerous. Can you say VIOXX? Merck's wonder dgug that killed an estimated 55,000-250,000 customers and it harmed almost 200,000. Yeah just the company you want making MMR'S and Gardasil.

You can not compare Vioxx to childhood vaccines. But since you did, I will again point out your inflated numbers. The estimated deaths is 60,000 deaths; the estimated amount of heart attacks it caused was 88,000 and 139,000 however the death amount is included within that figure. Those figures has no relation to vaccines. It's like saying since Toyota's blow up, better not drive a Ford because all makers and models of cars will blow up.

A polio scare is quite a bit different than an actual outbreak of polio. I'd bet you don't even know what year that was. These laws were created long before you or I were ever born, and it's clear the more people refuse to vaccinate, diseases are having outbreaks. It's clear sanitation, toilets and clean water makes no difference to spreading it. I hate to inform you, the only one who is afraid is you. If it was truly about fear, people would then fearall medications, but why only vaccines? A person can have a severe allergic reaction to any medication and can result in death. Most everyone else in the world choose to vaccinate because the want to protect their child, and they didn't base the choice off of me or you, or some conspiracy theory. My mother almost died from an allergic reaction to injected iodine oooooh the whole world better fear that test. She didn't have the test due to fear, and she knew one in a zillion are allergic to iodine. All medicine carries risks and there are no pre-tests to determine it. It's you who belittles peoples choices. And a waiver is no excuse. It costs nothing and anti vaxxers doctors fills out false vaccine records anyway.

You were born? Thought maybe hatched. VIOXX is evidence of MERCK'S behavior and as a vaccine maker they should be watched carefully. Gardasil is another disastrous product they make that is experimenting on young women and as usual all side affects are coincidences. He if it works keep saying it. Government certainly won't stop it.

Nice attack. Gardasil nor Vioxx cause autism, and that's what this forum is about. Gardasil also isn't required for entrance to public schools; it's a totally optional vaccine. Vioxx is never given to children nor required for entrance to public schools.

No one will get any where challenging a school about vaccine laws for entrance. Some eastern state tried to make such a stink, it got no laws changed and they then were in trouble for their truant students. Cost those parents a bunch in court fee's and attorneys all for nothing. Vaccines are a personal choice, not a public one. Get a waiver and get it over with, quietly without the drama.

Wrong again. Raise hell and make school boards uncomfortable and they will ask government to back off. parents have to be prepared to fight Pharma like they did when the Texas governor sold his soul to MERCK and tried to mandate gardasil. Prents said up yours governor and the weasle backed down. AWESOME.

More wrong misinformation. That's not what happened in Texas. Gardasil was never a required vaccine for school entry and also has no link to autism. Unlike other vaccines, Gardasil vaccine is a cancer preventative, not a childhood disease preventative. Texas also has vaccine waivers so it wouldn't had mattered if that state passed it. By the way, cervical cancer is the 5th deadliest cancer in women.

Bottom line, the gardasil vaccine was never at school level; no one went to schools and raised anything about it. Those that did try to enter their children without vaccine or waivers got no where. Public schools don't change vaccine laws. Hello.

Ah, no one went to the schools about Gardsil in Texas. It was all done within the governments office prior to it becoming law. Sort of like that current NJ law they're going to vote on, you know, S1759? No parent is going to the school board about it! Anyone can look it up and validate it.

Oh I see, Texas Gov Perry is in knee deep with Pharma. So explain why his bill for gardasil didn't pass?? Sort of goes totally against your conspiracy theory.

The article was about going to your school board to challenge current vaccine laws. You're the one who brought up gardasil which has nothing to do about current vaccine laws. But it shows that nasty Pharma isn't all so powerful as you lead people to believe, or gardasil would had passed for school entrance.

Gardasil is about laws that have or could have passed even with exceptions, no young woman should be forced, just like parents shouldn't be. Pharma is powerful because pleasing them gets a governor $$$$$, not because they are trusted by the public. Doesn't sound like you know much about gardasil, at least you're consistent.

Sounds like you don't know much, aside from gardasil has little to do if anything about the article. And it wasn't parents that changes Perry's tune, or claims of injury. It was the religious right people, being that the type of cancer gardasil prevents has a sexual cause, those religious groups seen the vaccine as pre marital sex acceptable.
No one goes to the school board to change state laws pertaining to vaccines. No once forces anyone to get vaccines, let alone gardasil. It's parental choice, and one choice is a waiver regardless of any laws. Sounds like you don't know much about anything other than dollar signs.
