I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in 2004, I was 36. I underwent 2 surgeries to remove the 3 cm along with the in-situ cells. The 2nd surgery was a success, my margins were clean. My medical oncologist at the time placed me on Arimidex with the Zolodex shot. That made me feel like I was 80+ years old. About 6 months later I was forced to see a different oncologist. At that time I did get on Tamoxifan and remained on the Zolodex shoot. I felt 100% better. Now at this time I am only taking the Tamoxifan the rest remains in the Lords hands.
