On behalf of all of us who have IBD, thank you very much! These are debilitating, frustrating diseases to live with, and back in the old days (although the attitude does linger sometimes) the notion was that it was the personality of the patient that was to blame for his or her inflamed intestines. Now we know a lot more, but still not enough to afford a cure or reliable, safe therapy.
