I wonder how many teachers, students, and school staff will have to die before the government decides to shut the schools down. It's so irresponsible to keep schools open. The world health organization has said that school closures could lower the rate of transmission by 40%...in other words, buy us time until the vaccines are ready. How incredibly sad!...my prayers are with the family tonight. I wonder if we will see mass law suits file on the gov. due to negligence?

I think you folks are jumping to conclusions like frightened masses. There is no proof yet that the death was even flu related.

yes i think they do need to close the schools down, but it would also help if the docters would care more instead of pushin people out the doors..took my little girl to the dr and she said that she was fine it was just strep throat..and if i would have passed it off as easy as she did she would not be alive today..she had pneumonia and mono NOT strep throat..she was very lucky we got her to the hosiptal when we did..
