Cameron in call over flu vaccines
Lessons must be learned from flu vaccine shortages as the country faces "significant outbreaks" for years to come, Prime Minister David Cameron said today.

The selling of the flu vaccines the public didn't need (wasn't selling) required the release of the active (laboratory) flu in order to stimulate sales.

If you read the story you will have difficulty following the logic, or lack there of. Here's a quote:
"Stocks of last year's swine flu vaccine - which
does not protect against all latest flu strains - are to be used in this year's vaccination program"
Gives them a chance to use up old useless stock. It also indicates typical medical science's lack of insight when it comes to virus, though they may be quite aware it keeps them in business to defeat one strain, which means next year another strain will dominate. Virus doesn't care about time, its a simple life form and it will be here when we are gone. Medical science will not concede deafeat, so things get worse.
