Tracking the flu with web 2.0?

There are some really cool sites out there that offer interactive maps tracking and trending the spread of the flu (and various other diseases). The most interesting one I have seen is www.germtrax.com , but there are some others ( www.healthap.org and www.flunearyou.com ). What do you think about using technology for flu-tracking?
