PS.. Been there - done that....the unbearable pain - pleading to die I HAVE BEEN THERE, HAVE YOU?...and the ONLY thing that could bring relief was pot. Please read with CLARITY and compassion and watch who you call a fool. You might find yourself in unbearable pain someday as well.
Say, curious, when a person gets that empty feeling, whatever will suffice, marijuana, oxycontin, a sip of liquid morphine under the tongue will sing sweet songs for the sufferer...don't insult me, I know that suffering in the last request and the smell of death hovering in the air, I know that scene very well, don't wish me ill, you sound really confused....

<quoted text>Your right about the VA not prescribing. Do you guys know of any Doctor that will prescribe it? I am checking for a friend that is getting disability for PTSD and he has asked if we could help locate a Doc. for him. He is in the Tularosa NM area.
say, don't be a victim of the old compromise, seek the doctor who will work with you, most Hospice physcians will work with you....seek out...friend...

What is the dosage unit of marijuana? What is the concentration of THC per dosage unit?...whatever gets you high? No way to regulate intake, never mind the carcinogens involved in smoking
Listen dissapointed you obviously are someone who has no idea what you are talking about first cannabis does not have to be smoked it can be eaten drank or vaporized which no it is not the same as smoking. Second, cannabis should be legal one way or the other and you should tell your nonsense to someone who found relief in nausea and being able to eat after their chemo treatments.

You would rather fill your kids up with narcotics rather than a "harmless" natural substance that has so many helpfull uses. With little to no side affects.

"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marihuana in private for personal use... Therefore, I support legislation amending Federal law to eliminate all Federal criminal penalties for the possession of up to one ounce [28g] of marihuana."

I think it's just an excuse to get your pot in. You can get a doctor in California to prescribe marijuana for something very minor any more (maybe a hangnail?). So much for the pain argument. It's also disturbing that tobacco has become the great evil, but marijuana can be 10 times worse in its smoking related dangers.

Also you can't blame the police for people being locked up for marijuana use and possession. Our legislators, judges and DAs do that. Police just enforce the law.
Listen CB of e nm pot does not have to be smoked if it is vaped it doesnt release any where near the amount of carcinogens that it does when when smoked. Yow would only need to smoke maybe one or two marijuana joints a day in the first place not a whole pack. Second cigarettes have way more chemicals in them then cannabis.

If you don't know what your talking about you should keep your comments to yourself. You are the type of person that is holding are society back because of your ignorant thinking.

You are Clueless. Sorry just speaking the truth.

Tobacco is an evil and deserves all the criticism we can give it. Any one who smokes it in the house with their kids or in the car, or any enclosed space, deserve to go to jail and have there kids taken away utill they get their head straight.

If you are a cop you need to believe in the law you are exercising. So if you are a cop which I would never be because I see them as power hungry people and nothing else. A cop has never gone out of his way to do anything to help me. Cops are with tobacco worthless and evil.

Sadly, marijuana use only perpetuates lethargy, government dependancy and liberal thinking.

unfortunately ret cop, as u may believe this, the real world actually knows that Police officers perpetuate lethargic actions but the compete for power over everyone else, and as for government dependancy, is this the government we wanna trust? the one where police officers are illegaly beating people on the streets daily? The only liberal thinking we do sir is how to avoid you... if u wanna make the world a better place illegalize Alcohol, which is proven to do more damage than marijuana itself.

So what doctors might actually give a prescription in Albuquerque? Any one with any luck?

If you do know of one, keep it to yourself. You need to speak to your own private doctor and get referrals, LEGALLY, in order for this thing to work.

There are a number of people out there who can benefit from this - TALK to your doctor!

Not surprised that you'd only think of yourself. Ex cop, conservative, and government paid servant. You are a living example of what is wrong with this country. Probably a drinker and wife beater too! Not fair me picking on you.... everything I wrote is a typical cross section of many ex-police. Does it fit all no, of course not.

I am beginning to see that medical mj might be a good thing.

Definitely better than the drugs being pushed on us by the drug companies, you know the ones that have all the side effects...take this for a headache but your heart my stop, take this for allergies but your arm might fall off, take this to help have sex but it might fall off.

At least medical mj doesn't seem to have the fatal or near fatal effects of modern drugs {which incidently are just as addictive and more so in some cases}.

Oh yeah...depression pills...could cause depression...wha?

Marijuana is the greatest medicine mankind could ever hope for.

Without it, I never would have had the strength on my own to get off hard drugs.

And without it, my friend who is afflicted with colitis, chrohns, and severe intractable neuropathy.
