Anyway its wrong to smoke in a car with children in it. Its even more wrong for you people that want to defend it now that you know and I have posted on here what is in cigarettes. Read it ...Formaldehyde you people that do smoke are not using your brain at all. Whats up with Formaldehyde in cigarettes. I think if I am right there are was Formaldehyde in those countertops in those trailers that the homeless were in after Katrina. I think it was a problem with the high level of it. I am sure its good for wood preservation. Since trailer counter tops are mostly made of sawdust and glue. Fungicides and pesticides -- Cause many types of cancers and birth defects. Cadmium -- Linked to lung and prostate cancer. Benzene -- Linked to leukemia. Formaldehyde -- Linked to lung cancer. Nickel -- Causes increased susceptibility to lung infections. I am not stating opinion here stupids. I do mean STUPIDS you now know what is in a cigarette so a person with good sense will stop. A stupid person would go on smoking this thing that has all this bad crap in it. Now Roll in the floor laughing..... However why the hell is Formaldehyde in cigarettes. If you want to defend this product you smokers need to write them and see if they can take some of the crazy stuff they have in them.

However you chosse toe smoke in there car with kid in it. Here is the list of those that support children being in car with smokers. Fluteman Grey....He doesnt do it but supports the rights of people that do. If that is not what he is doing then I think I mised the point. Non Cas Fan... From what I can tell wants to blame the problems on everything else. I cant figure out if he or she actually smokes in a car with children. Bdjunker.... Openly admits to smoking in cars with children and dares people do to anything about it. As far as science goes the death toll is nearly up to a BILLON people now worldwide have died from cancer worldwide related to Tobacco smoke. http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/data_statistics/fa... Go there and read but I am sure the CDC is also not a good source. Youll claim what does that have to do with SHS. Your fools SHS is Tobacco smoke. ONE BILLION PEOPLE you monsters ONE BIllION. I really have nothing left to say to fools that would hurt children. We need a law to protect children from people like the names I have mentioned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =nXLQAGJoz3k&feature=relat ed

Killer Plants wrote: http://www.euro.who.int/mediac entre/PR/2008/20080602_1 Non Cas Fan there is the link to the 1 billion taht have died. I am sure you will thumb your nose up at it. Since you have said many times you want proof positive data. Note not saying you want kids in car for a study. Ah. I was hoping this was the thing you were trying to use. I don't really 'thumb my nose at it'. "Unless serious action is taken, it is estimated that up to a billion people could die from tobacco use during the 21st century." Note the word "could"?(That hardly denotes "proof positive data".) Now note that a century is 100 years long, and more people than ONE BILLION will die of something during the 21st century. In fact, very nearly every adult now living will have died by 2100.(That's about 4.3 billion of us already.) I can name a specific cause of preventable death that will claim just over FOUR TIMES as many lives as tobacco during the 21st century, but when I point that out people claim I am trying to divert the issue. But which is worse? The ONE BILLION, or the over FOUR BILLION? Which is more monstrous? If there are two large holes in your boat, should you plug the one that's flowing at 1gpm, or the one that's flowing at 4.6gpm? Hmm. Killer Plants wrote: I think I clearly stated I was a smoker decades ago. Sorry, I missed that. I hope you have fully recovered. Killer Plants wrote: As to the positive effects from the Tobacco Plant. I dont doubt it a minute. Its a weird plant. I probably holds the cure for several of mans illnesses beside cancer. Inhalation of smoke is not good on the lungs no matter what the smoke is though. I totally agree in principle. I would argue that exposure amounts is the critical factor. Killer Plants wrote: To make the matter worse. Why do Tobacco Companies add toxins to Cigarettes? Answer me that please<excerpted> I have no idea, nor do I really care why they do that. Ask a tobacconist. Seriously. Try asking someone at a tobacco shop. That's more down their alley, so to speak. Killer Plants wrote: So yes Tobacco the plant and what is in it could cure people I agree. Not if you smoke it. Very probable for cures, but, yeah, not good for inhaling the smoke particulates. Killer Plants wrote: 3. Non Cas Fan is a non smoker that pretty much feels that there is not enough evidence to support even the possiblity that it might harm a child even after this person reads what is in a cigarette. The dose makes the poison. These same children inhale WAY more formaldehyde when they're in biology class. Killer Plants wrote: 4. I cant address all of the people here because some and I say some of you pro smokers are bullies. You use this forum to post how wonderful cigarettes are. I dont care if you smoke. Smoke away just not in a car with kids. Or at least crank the windows down.

I think its down your alley since your in love with defending cigarettes Non Cas Fan. Why dont you write them. Ask them why in the hell they put all that toxic crap in a cigarette? However I think your fine with it. I really think your position allows smokers to rationalize that they can smoke in a car with the kid in it. Thats the harm you do and thats why your a monster Non Cas Fan. I dont think we need to take chances on childrens lives. Just dont smoke in the car. Its that simple. Yes billions of people will die in the 21st century. Many will die of cancer from cigarettes. that number will be in the billions from a source that didnt have to kill them. But again I dont care if adults smoke. Its the childrens exposure to it that bothers me. You wrote this Non Cas Fan."The dose makes the poison. These same children inhale WAY more formaldehyde when they're in biology class." I hope this is not another straw case. But childern. little kids in car seats are not going to biology class. Your way off base here even trying to defend the Tobacco companies. Your defending them for using a dangerous toxic chemical. So why? Why do you defend them for using these toxins? Unless you get paid too. Or unless your a die hard smoker which I think you have to be one or the other. Since you dont care by your own addmission that its ok for people to smoke in cars with children due to how little you think it is proven even after I have showed you all the toxins that the Tobacco companies have put in them. Why do they do that put toxins in there? I do think that Non Cas Fan actually works for the Tobacco lobby. Or a company of theirs. If not I do hope you finally do understand what kind of confusion you create to people that want to understand the facts. You should get a job there as a CEO. You do want to defend the rights of smokers to smoke. Until you get a Nazi like set of studies that will tell clinically how many people are dying of it. Have fun light up another one Non Cash Fan None of you addicted Tobacco junkies can win this. Your on the wrong side. Your efforts on here to justify Tobacco will only lead people to think its ok. A law needs to be passed banning Tobacco Smoking in cars with kids Nationwide and soon.

Thus, the "studies" that litter the news each and every day. Unfortunately for them, not everyone is buying it, and some can actually see the deceit of these ridiculous claims. Sorry because I know you don't believe it is so, but that very fanaticism will be their undoing.

Formaldehyde is found virtually everywhere, indoors and out, naturally occurring and man-made. It is a combustion product found in cigarette and wood smoke, natural gas, kerosene, exhaust from automobiles, incinerators and power plants. It is also widely used in building materials especially glue, Urea-formaldehyde foam insulation and pressed-wood products such as plywood, particle board, paneling and wood finishes. Many floor coverings contain formaldehyde such as carpet, padding and adhesives. Also used in furniture, paper products, cosmetics, deodorants, shampoos, fabric dyes and permanent-press fabrics, inks, disinfectants, air deodorizers and carpet deodorizers. Mobile homes, motor homes, and travel trailers are known for high amounts of formaldehyde since so many of their components may be made from particle board or pressed-wood products. Even in small amounts formaldehyde can cause serious health problems and unfortunately takes years to finally dissipate after being used in manufactured products. In some cases, exposure to formaldehyde can increase a persons sensitivity to other irritants or chemicals that were never a problem in the past, making them allergic to almost anything. For some people, past exposure to formaldehyde has permanently impaired their health and well being for the rest of their lives. http://prohousedr.com/formfact.htm

You are also supposed to treat your body as a temple. You not only harm yourself, but you knowingly put others at risk. When St Peter asks you why you smoked, you will say "God made tobacco and I enjoyed it." St. Peter will wonder why you did not smoke poison ivy, too, if that is your lame excuse. No, the problem here is that you do NOT believe in God, because if you did, you would ask Him to relieve you of your addiction for nicotine and He would. You would no longer smoke.

If God is in your life, when he wants you to do something, he is perfectly capable of letting you know. You claim to know what Saint Peter thinks. Wow! And talk about loose interpretation. Christ is the body and the temple, not mankind. We are dust to dust – ashes to ashes. Our days are known before we are even born. And I believe; we are supposed to love our brethren who are in Christ. I'm not to sure God would want you bad mouthing our gene pool. After all, it belongs to him.
