As a smoker of 30+ years that tried everything from patches to pills and gum to quit smoking, I am very happy to be about to celebrate my 2 year anniversary of being a non-smoker.
When nothing else worked electronic cigarettes were my last hope of quitting and it worked. Not only was I able to finally quit smoking tobacco altogether but due to the flexibility I have been steadily reducing my intake of nicotine as well.
I only wish that local law makers would quit forcing me to go out with the smokers to use my device. Not only are they forcing me to be exposed to the secondhand smoke the laws are intended to protect me from but the increased temptation to go back to regular cigarettes will cause many to fail in their effort to quit smoking. Seems like the deck has been stacked against this method of quitting smoking.
