I heard McCain say he had not smoked since his early 40's. It's amazing, after all those years of smoking, that he remains in such good health. He has already passed that 10-14 year difference in longevity between smokers, ex-smokers, and non-smokers. Yet there he is in excellent health. How is that possible?

Bloomburg news on July 21 reports "tobacco used to fight cancer.", I hope it works and saves some lives. I'm sure however that people like Sheri, Linda, his- sorry- butt and fool-boy will be upset to see Big Pharm make more money off tobacco.

I have posted before that I believe that the real purpose of the war against smoking is just what you report on here...to develop drugs with the miracle drug NICOTINE. The research now includes drugs for Alzheimers, Parkinson's, schizophrenia, and a host of others. My feeling is that RWJF wants to off the tobacco companies and control tobacco just for that monumental profit margin. The list is endless, and the profit margin should these studies prove legitimate are astronomical...far beyond the profits from smoking cessation drugs. But first the basta@@s have to rid the world of tobacco, create a culture that demonizes it, and then take over the industry. They are working on that as we speak.
