I beleive they should ban smokig in the casinos its not fair for them to be singled out of the law. It is just as harmful to their employees and patrons as it is in any other public place they can go outside to smoke.

Delaware Casinos and Maryland Casinos are 100% smoke free and the places are PACKED with gamblers.

It's just a myth created by the tobacco companies, tobacco lobbyists, and smokers whining they won't show up. Smokers are addicted to smoking just as much as they are addicted to gambling. They won't stop, it's all a scare tactic. They can still smoke at the casino they just need to step outside and step back in.

Some of the smokers prefer smoke free casinos as they tell me they don't smoke half as much and they feel better about themselves.

Look online at Maryland Live Casino, it's one of the newest and biggest casinos around and it's 100% smoke free.

I'd never step inside a smoking casino again.

I can't believe Iowa is so behind the times, sounds like some political leaders are being paid off by Big Tobacco. Shame on them.

There should be some filthy shack set up with sand ashtrays and garbage cans for their packaging. They won't use them of course and the area will become a disgusting mess, but we have to at least try to educate these lowlife.

I'm the winner here, Maryland and Delaware casinos are 100% smoke free and business couldn't be better. All the hype and bogus crap that the Tobacco Companies, Tobacco Lobbyists, Liquor Lobbyist, Gambling Lobbyists were spewing for years has been proved totally false. They used scare tactics that tried to bully the casinos into thinking they were doomed.

Come to Maryland or Delaware and see how well the casinos are doing. You won't believe your eyes and your lungs will thank you!

If I lived in Iowa, I'd be dragging the political leaders by their hair and show them first hand how well the 100% smoke free casinos work in Maryland and Delaware. What a bunch of fools Iowa has.

If you don't like smoke, then stay out of places where there's smoke. The only "fool" here appears to be you.

I agree. But this leaves smokes one choice and the only acceptable place to smoke is inside your room since smoking is not allowed in public places, commercial buildings and even beach front.
