Homosexuals started the disease. It is a gay disease. Non gays started getting it from either blood transfusions or bad needles or having sex with someone that has AIDS. But homo's started it on it's path.

I'm not afraid to admit anything. I do a lot of work for aids in Africa through my university and know the topic quite well. You said, "The liberals of America want us to think it is not a gay disease but it is" - that doesn't make sense for a lot of reasons, but if you haven't figured it out yet, you probably never will. If you understand the monkey theory you'll see that gays were just as much a victim to the disease as any other group. The first recorded case of infection was in 1959 and had been spreading pretty much 'under the radar' since then, mistaken for other illnesses. The notion of it being a 'gay disease' is simply a social one that stems from homophobia. Non-gay individuals were also found with the disease during the initial onset in the states, but the media dramatized the findings in gays. This led to large testing of that particular group more than any other, and so more cases were subsequently found among them. The fact is that the origin of aids is impossible to know, not for you to say, and is too complex pandemicly to be blamed on a single group. More importantly, for you to call a global pandemic of this scale a 'gay disease', which much more dramatically affects (and has been affecting for a much longer period of time) the heterosexual African world, simply because gays were among the first to contract it solely in your country, makes you very narcissistic.

I would be curious to know if Tamara is a "product" of the 80's? I grew up in the 80's and at the time we were told over and over it was a gay disease. However, I've had 20 some years to lear about this disease and we now know that is NOT the case!
