Hello...my name is Sam and last week after hearing voices and seeing things that I didn't like I ended up in the hospital. I am fine now and everything is back to normal, but I have a question:
When I was in the hospital I heard things over the loudspeaker that matched with certain goings on in my life. For example, I heard the name of someone I know (said twice) being called. It was done almost in a mocking manner and made me think that they have something to do with why I zoned out and was hearing and seeing things in the first place. It's a long story, but before I ever had my first "schizophrenic episdoe" this person took me to a scary place where people were doing all sorts of things that made me freak out. Anyway, has anyone ever had to go to the hospital and heard weird things being said over the loudspeaker? Things that seemed to match whatever was going on in their life "perfectly"? Or, is this just a regular occurance when one supposedly has schizophrenia? I talked to the person who's name I heard and we kind of got into a debate about the whole situation. They told me they cared about me and would never hurt me intentionally and even though I have my doubts I agreed and calmed down. Any answer to my question would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance... Sam |
