Vann,
ALL the posts list the MOST RECENT THREAD FIRST. Why does 'this' particular post of 'yours' list the 'oldest','your' post of the miraculous benefits of DE first??? It is the OLDEST? How did you do this? Just curious? There are posts of mine "I" would like to have listed first and foremost!!! Just like you have!
Thanks!

Vann has had nothing but good suggestions that have worked for some, if not all who read them. I plan on giving it a try, and would rather take the suggestion of someone who offers a positive contribution than waste time on counterproductive naysayers.

I'll try an answer.
When we post on a long thread, our post goes to the very end always.
When we start our own thread, then our first post on that thread remains on the top. Look at the dates and years of each post.

I've only started a couple of my own threads (never knew how to do it before). Izo, you usually start your own thread which sometimes is not necessary.

If I find an old thread that I like, and it's buried pages and pages back in the forum, I'll post on it and "bump" it so everyone today can read it.

The immune system thread is an oldie but goodie thread.

Hope this helped.

what a bunch of crap.....my daughter rode a greyhound bus to come home to live with her newborn.. She got t5he scabies we believe on the bus.. she started having symptoms a month before me..after a couple weeks after her arrival... the doctors told her it was eczema and prescribed a cream...it slighty relieved her symptoms for a short time.. then she went back to doctor and diagnosed dermititus.. by then i am having symptoms and we both went to dr. who didnt think it was scabies because he didnt see the tracks or pencil thin lines... but the bites were VERY evident.. he prescribed 5% premethrin cream... and thourough cleaning of sheets and beds... All this did was piss them off... Now we are at ground zero, we have been terrorized by scabies. I have read thru these posts.. I found them by searching for something that really works on scabies... there a load of misinformation... Any one who could give misinformation about these little terrorist should pay a heavy spiritual price..say like maybe

Patty,

Your worries about the environment are commendable. The facts are very easy.

1) All mites will die sooner or later without their blood meal. Scabbies die within 1 week MOL depending on temperature.

2) All mites will get hungry sooner or later, and will crawl to us for their next meal. We don't have to search for them. They WILL come to us. I guarantee it.

3) When they attempt to crawl up the furniture legs to get to us, they will DIE from the pie pans containing DE. Just think of a MOAT around the castle.

4) If they get past the pie pans containing DE, they must survive the thin layer of DE in the bedding or on your furniture.

5) If they survive all of that extremely unlikely, then they die from the thin film of DE all over your skin.

6) They DIE from the DE left in and around their burrows.

So you see, no matter where the mites go from your environment, they are killed by Diatomacious Earth.

thanks for helping those who are suffering from this most horrible nightmare. Why do you think these people are fighting this wonderful cure so hard? It makes no sense to me.

Truly, do not give up on this forum just yet. I was so depressed and miserable when I realized what I had...I probably would have killed myself if it were not for this forum, not even joking here! When you are searching this forum, just ignore all the threads and posts by Vann, and you will find some really useful information, along with some awesome people who truly care about getting healed and done with this horrific affliction. Vann is a pompous ass, but he has a right to post here since it is a public forum.

Vannity, this is a public forum, YOU do not get to choose what anyone posts here! Newcomers need to be warned about you, and they need to know that there are sane people within this community that are actually here to help them without pushing things down their throats. You are a menace!

You might remember I posted under another thread about the bad effects of Permethrin on the skin, so I went to a dermatologist who prescribed an all-over steroid cream. It helped, but I still have the crawling sensation and am on antihistamines for that.
My feeling is that there's still some kind of infection, as I occasionally get new bumps and my scalp has a lot of evidence of skin disruption.
I think the steroid cream - really like vaseline - helped, but that it really treated the symptoms and not he cause.
Thoughts?
Whatever you do, do not put any sort of permethrin on your cat. It is extremely toxic to cats. Revolution twice a month on your cat should help. You can talk to your vet about ivermectin for your cat. Wash your cat in a gentle shampoo and ensure everything is washed off the cat, as they are groomers and will ingest. I will do a search for you on pets here on this forum.

The links you have above lead to a company that sells de.

I copied this from that pages header.
Quality products at wholesale prices

If this isn't spam ...I don't know what is!

Quit selling DE!

Inaquandry:

Ask your doctor for the ivermectin tablets. There are other topicals you can use, too. Benzemul lotion, BB and rubbing alcohol, sulfur and vaseline and/or sulfur and lotion. Borax/bleach baths. Do a search on any of these on this forum and you will find some good reading. Good luck to you.

I did a search on cats on this forum and many threads came up.
