Hi, Thanks for the tips. I hope it works. I've been to the doctors 9 times in the past three months and spending a fortune on creams and the doctors not even being accurate with my diagnosis!!!! The itching feeling is just intense and the scars and rashes on my body are weeping and sore and quite embarrising. I feel for anyone thats had this as its extremely hard to get rid of! the main reason im writing in is that i would like to hear from some other people that have tried this and had it succesfully work as I am desperate to get rid of it. Thanks
(p.s I cant afford to throw away furniture) he he
I have been suffering from scabies for 2 months now, it's driven me insane , the itching , the scars , the fear that I may be ruining my friends lives ,... it's too much , doctors WILL not diagnose it, they will first say it's an allergic reaction to food, then to detergent then to clothes , then to alcohol , all the while my skin is burning , I'm going to try this need oil treatment , they say it takes 10 days to feel results , I will also wrap my bed , I cannot afford to replace my stuff , but I'm sure my furniture is covered in these little demons , trust me , you are not alone in your struggle against this parasite , in the name of science i will explain how this goes ,

chiming in to say that i've tried almost every natural thing for mites, essential oil oregano, thyme, tea tree, neem, turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, clove, food grade msm, food grade DE, etc. etc.

The best natural substance i've found is using whole sheets of nori seaweed over the infected area, soaked in chlorinated water. wrap as you would a bandage, it will dry, tighten up the skin, and remove swelling and itch, heal open sores, and impart a cooling sensation. Leave it on until morning. can't say it is a "cure" but its better then all the oils and dried spices combined without any of the burning and dryness. Also seemed to suffocate some mites. Seaweed has no sting or dryness.
One good option is to take a bath with himalayan pink or dead sea salt, dried wormwood and some olive oil with cayenne powder added to the hot bath. it seemed to help a lot. but cayenne can sting. and the bath can possibly make mites spread to new areas.

Another option is ACVinegar and dried wormwood infusion (dried wormwood needs to be boiled a bit and left to infuse) soaked in a cloth and put on affected area. But open sores will sting from the vinegar.

Fourth best, food grade DE will take off the itch but drys out skin.

keep in mind none of these things healed me... but they helped temporarily.

one more thing that brings relief, is sitting out in the sunlight.
i was just in so much pain that i was crying, from the dry cracked skin,
(waiting for my next batch of nori sheets to arrive still)
I went outside in the sun for an hour and it was almost instant relief.

Thanks for the turmeric suggestions! Try to take a hot bath with 5-6 drops of blue dawn dish soap for atleast 20 min daily a week. It worked for me!! The first time you'll think its worse but that's just because they're slowly being drawn out of your skin. It'll be gone by the end of the week and will stay away if you dont go back to you infested bed. Buy a cheap air matress that has no cloth on it. Also, it takes longer to get rid of them in your scalp. I'm gonna try turmeric but kleen green also helps a lot!!!! It's expensive but worth it. Freeze your bedding and stuff if you cant buy new ones, and get leather pillow cases.
