Hello, i find this message in Yahoo answers. See whether it is useful to u
"Itís not your fault that you still have scabies but you will have to stop scabies or everyone around you may become infected by these parasites through contact or even from the bed you sleep in or the couch you sit on to the clothes you wear.

You should begin by soaking in warm baths with one cup of apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of tumeric and a a teaspoon of Neem Oil.

Make up a paste using these same ingredients and paste on areas that continue to itch.

Take these baths and apply the paste untill all signs of scabies ends.

Add a tablespoon of apple cider to your laundry as well. Scabies will attach to your clothing and lay eggs. Apple Cider Vinegar will prevent eggs from hatching.

Decontaminate your home. First- Throw away your matress, rugs, and couches if you can afford to. If you can't throw away your furniture, you will need to bag them in plastic for at least 30 days to suffocate the scabies and prevent the next cycle of eggs from hatching. You could still sleep on this bed if you enclose the entire matress with a plastic bag. The same goes for other furniture. If you can not get rid of your rugs, I would suggest mixing up a solution of white vinegar with a tablespoon of neem oil and a tablespoon of tumeric and shampoo your rugs every other week for six weeks to insure that all of the hatching parasites are kiled. When you take your matress and couches out of the plastic, spray on a diluted mixture of 3 Parts water/ 1 part vinegar with a tablespoon of
tumeric and a tablespoon of Neem oil.

This is a very inexpensive and effective way to eliminate scabies but it will require you to disinfect your home, yourself, and your clothing so you do not spread these parasites to others. "

Satpri,

Thanks for that. I have read that there has not been any real evidence that neem is effective for scabies. Many of the people in India who had skin problems who it helped were never actually diagnosed with regard to what they had. They could have had other skin parasites. But it is worth trying. Thanks for the post.

By the way, I was in India for 6 months back in 1981 visiting OSHO in Pune. We do not have chiku fruit here - it was very intersting and nice to eat the chiku pulp !

I've been trying a naural remedy that seems to be working. It includes neem seed oil, neem powder, tumeric powder and tea tree oil. I got all of these products at a store called herbies. You should try going to a natural store that saled natural herbs/products.

I've been doing this for 3 days and so far the results have been good...I stil feel a bit crawling, but not as much as before(just a bit in my legs)--but hardly any itching....hopefully it continues to work. Neem oil is supposed to repell any new scabies from attacking.

What I did.....

Mix 3 parts neem powder, 1 part tumeric, with your favorite shampoo. Rub it all over your body...let dry....get in the shower... rinse.. put more of this mixture in your hair while its wet. Let sit for 5 min, then rinse.

Mix Neem seed oil with a bit of tea tree oil spread all over body...wera clean PJ's

should see results in 3 days I hope! good luck all.

P.S. neem has a bad smell:(

I haven't tried this remedy, but be warned that turmeric will stain everything yellow. In a few days it will disappear from your skin, but do not wash your rugs/couch with it!

Hi, Thanks for the tips. I hope it works. I've been to the doctors 9 times in the past three months and spending a fortune on creams and the doctors not even being accurate with my diagnosis!!!! The itching feeling is just intense and the scars and rashes on my body are weeping and sore and quite embarrising. I feel for anyone thats had this as its extremely hard to get rid of! the main reason im writing in is that i would like to hear from some other people that have tried this and had it succesfully work as I am desperate to get rid of it. Thanks
(p.s I cant afford to throw away furniture) he he

I agree with Satpri. I bought a futon and covered it and my mattress and box springs in zip up vinyl covers from JC Penney. I have tried other stores and they just don't carry them. All the other material in the house is bagged except for some clothes.

This is the best way to cure scabies.

1. Get Ivermectin, cheapest is from Amazon.com Ivermectin 1% injection for Cattle & Swine, 50 ml $29.95. It is for vet use but your doc won't prescribe it for you if you live in the US so this is the cheapest and best option. Take 200mcg per kilo of body weight. So if you are 180lbs, take 1.8ml of the liquid mix it with (2 tablespoons) of luke warm warmer and drink it. You can buy a syringe an needle to measure the right amount. Repeat the dose after ten days. And that's all!

2. Benzyl benzoate cream 20%- apply this on your whole body frmo head to toe once a day.

3. Sterilize your living environment to prevent re-infection. Wash all clothes with your regular detergent + 1 cup of borax (20 mules borax).

4. When taking a shower, wash your body with 10% sulfer (sulphur) soap. This also kills the mites. Let the lather stay on your skin for 5 minutes and wash off.

I don't know about any of that, but my dad has scabies that he caught from the nursing home he works at.
Thank you for the tip. Do you think apple cidar vinegar/neem oil will help on the rugs and furniture??
We're so clueless about it and the doctors seem to just making things up for him. I just starting itching between my fingers.. and I'm hoping I don't have it, because it'll pretty much just mess up my college but---- yeah. I would be SO GLAD if this would help us.

@ the main answer up at the top, from yahoo answers:
Thank you for the post! We can't afford to throw away furniture, but we can sure as heck put plastic on it, if that will help.
I just looked up neem oil and turmeric.. they seem to be pretty expensive where I'm looking. Anyone know where to buy it?
Also- there are different kinds of turmeric and I was wondering whether you meant the powder or some oil as well.

Any answers.. at all??:

Please e-mail me @ minnie_kowl@ymail.com or minnie_kowl@yahoo.com
Try to make it not look like spam? Priority IMPORTANT so it's at the top of my e-mail, if you have that option. I would appreciate it SO much.

I really want to help my dad and we're so low on money because of the doctors, it's insane! So, if I drop college now.. it's likely I won't be going back any time soon and I really need this degree to help pay for the house, utilities, doc bills, etc.
Thank you so much for reading and please please please take the time to e-mail me.

When I had scabies I used sulfur creams over the course of 4 days by applying it to my body overnight and spot treating during the daytime. I also used tons of epsom salts in post scabies. Here is a forum that helped me with some tips:

hey guys. I've been searching the internet and came across this 'cure'. Please let me know of you thoughts and if it is safe etc. I've only had scabies for a few weeks, im a teenager and really need to get rid of this.
I came across this because i'm researching morgellons when im not looking up scabies forums. Its all very interesting to me...i honestly believe we get all of there horrible infestations from having weak immune systems. I was, up untill i knew what i had, bulimic and wud yo yo diet every week. My immune system must hav been in terrible shape, which i'm now fixing. Life takes on new meaning once you realise how important it is :) anyway enough of my chatter hehe this is what i read....
If you cover you body with demetious earth (sorry if thts spelt wrong) missed with grape seed oil after a few weeks you will be cured. Stop all the crazy cleaning, take your normal amount of showers. Keep the mix on untill your normal shower. Wash with all the products you would like borax, bleach etc but also wash in a little bit of DA stuff. Put all legs of beds, chair etc in a bowell of DA. Dont sprinkle it around house coz might cause health risk. But yer no need to wash sheets everyday because they will have DA in them. If you have the dreaded bird mite they will die from trying to get to you because of the bowells filled with DA. If they get passed tht and onto skin theres another layer of DA.
Does this sound safe? I understand you cant eat the stuff obviously but putting it on your skin should be harmless enough right? To us i mean :)
I cant copy the link coz im on my phone but you could probably find it on your own. I think i typed in 'scabies and morgellons linked to low immune system' and that popped up.
Please let me know your thought on this. I want to try it but dont want to harm my self.
Peace :) x

oh and do you normal washing of bedding Once a week instead of everyday because there will be DA on it :)
I'm guna do it every 3 days. Because DA is a living thing right? So i dont want it to die and stop doing its job...

Take your time to look up the site. The actual way of doing it is posted in the comments on the site. I really wish i could post the link.

I think i may be onto something :)
