I thought I already posted this but I didn't see it show up, so sorry if this is a double post.

I've read a few things about vacuum cleaning strategies, and the most recommended seems to be using bags, and sucking up from Borax at the end of each cleaning sessions.

Here is my issue, my bag vacuum is and old piece of junk and my new canister style vacuum works very very well, and also has a HEPA filter.

With a canister, is it essential to empty after every use? I would think that would be a risk for re-exposure. Will vacuuming again without emptying really be a risk considering the HEPA filter is always in place to control the exhaust of the vacuum?

Is the concern simply with mites working their way out of the vacuum as it sits unused during the night? I've read that borax in its powdered form would take over a day to kill a mite, so would sucking up some aerosol insecticide at the end of a session and NOT emptying the canister be the best route for me?

Please share your experiences!

I hsve a good Dyson vacuum and i have borax sitting in the cylinder so there is no way anything could live. It works for me.I also use Raid spider spray on carpets etc every 2 weeks rather than borax, I read its supposed to be just as affective (less messy) as supposedly the scabies mite is from the spider family. I read this somwhere on the forum once.

The tip on vacuum cleaners may be a good one but if you really want to know the most valuable information that "Persistance" brought to this forum it is this;

Well I am still fighting the battle sad to say. I gave up on Doctors a long time ago, they have no clue and/or diagnose you with parasitosis when they can think of nothing else. I guess there are a lot of people in this world with parasitosis. I did get checked for lyme disease and of course a false negative as has been said. I am still experimenting, desperate to find a cure not just for me but more importantly for my family and the whole world as I see the signs in people. Everyone is silent about it afraid to tell anyone what is going on and so this disease continues to spread around the world as I believe it to be highly contagious from my own experiences of what I have seen and felt. I have been keeping it under control and hoping to find an end to this nightmare. In desperation I have tried so many crazy things to end this nightmare. I do believe like some others in this forum that there is a direct link with lyme disease and morgellons speaking from personal experience and research that I am constantly doing. I am going to write about my story and how it all began, my discoveries and experiences and the treatments I have tried along with results from them on the morgellons research organization site in the next few months after I compose it. http://www.morgellons-research.org/morgellons...
