Honestly, ive done it ALL! Right now I'm just using up what I have which is BB & tea tree oil all over head to toe along with taking ivermec orally. I'm sure the ivermec is doing nothing though. I also shampoo with selsen blue.

The Permethrin 5% needs to cover every bit of skin. Under you finger and toe nails. The bottom of your feet. Lips , everywhere except your hair. And then spot treat every itch for 3 days. This is very key to the treatment. It's best to wear gloves so you don't have to keep treating them.

Honestly, right now I'm just using up what I have which is selsen blue shampoo because of the extreme itching & BB/tea tree oil mix from head toe. Probably not going to keep using this though. Last night just so I could sleep I made a paste out of A&H & bleach. Mites finally gave me a break. It was messy & it doesn't stick well but it got me sleep.

i am right now covered in chemical burns from the Nair & considering a trip to the ER. I think I caused permanent damage to my skin. was treating with sulfur and clove oil this week, so my skin must have been really sensitive. beware internet remedies!!!!!!

I heard rumors that hair removal creams have cured Scabies but didn't try it myself. It's a interesting approach I'd like to hear more about. I heard you can only keep it on your skin for 10 minutes then it starts to burn. Also, my on this forum have mites burrowing in their scalps, I guess one would have to shave your head then apply Nair? Humm. Not sure about this one.

I'm really desperate now. I tried everything last night to just get them out of my ears, nose, eyes& off my face so I could sleep. Nothing worked. When I put the ear plugs in, I could hear them again hitting against the ear plugs(eventually getting in my ear). I just feel want to touch my kids again.
MW- ya- if Nair did work, I'd be one of those that would have shave my head because my scalp is real bad.
So tired- all the selsen blue does for me is help with the itch on my scalp & sulfur soap didn't help me either.
Praying for miracles for all of us

OMG sorry about the Nair burns. I feel real bad I thought I posted that the Nair only needs to be on for 3 min. That's all it takes to kill the hives. The sand come pouring out of the hive areas.

A couple things to add. When taking the horse past do not eat for 12 hour before taking and at least 6 hours after taking this improves the effectiveness by up to 70% so I'm told.

Petroleum jelly does not suffocate them!

Haunted One: Yeah, it's my own fault. I should have known better than to put the Nair on my skin, which was already sensitive from the other treatments. But desperation makes you do crazy things. It burned the minute put it on, and I left in on for less than 5 minutes. My legs got the worse of it, totally fire engine red. They eventually tamed down to a flamingo pink. Thought I was going to pass out from the pain, it was so encompassing.

Ended up blending up an oatmeal paste with half a canister of oatmeal and pouring it into a tub of tepid water and soaking in that for 2 hours. Then put neosporin all over them and wrapped my legs in gauze. Then took a valium. I almost went to the ER, but that's where I got scabbies in the first place -- besides I don't think they could have done anymore for me than I was able to do for myself.

So now I'm sitting here unable to move because it hurts to move. Feels like a really bad 3rd degree sunburn, maybe even worse. I'm just saying, be careful with the Nair, especially if you've been treating your skin with other things like tea tree oil, clove, bleach, or whatever, be careful about throwing the Nair into the mix. A person should probably not do anything to their skin for a week or so before doing the Nair. At any rate, I hope after all this the mites will be gone. I mean if I feel this bad, I can just imagine the mites feel worse.

As I sit here covered from the neck down in DE powder I am contiplating the nair stratedgy. I haven't tried any ivermectin yet either. All the other stuff mentioned I have tried. My husband thinks I might be crazy since I've had it for almost five weeks and no one else in our big family has had one sign of them. Yay for nair!

I think I'm gonna end up in the looney bin with this stuff. Yikes!

I used Nair as a finnal clean up. Not as the main cure. Horse paste and perm. Then keep moving new cloths stay out of the house.
