Looking for cheapest but still EFFECTIVE... I've heard Livestock 10% diluted in half won't work because missing "PBO"--But what about this idea?! Mix livestock 10% with Rid shampoo (or similar product)--would that get the PBO's in there? And that way you can get your scalp easy too!?...

Bumping this thread.

I have the same question.

I want to use the 10% Permethrin such as Martin's 10% Permethrin to home-make the 5% Perm.

What is the "PBO" ? how can I get the PBO so I can add it to the home-makd 5% Perm to make it work.

It appears that the second product here already contains the PBO.

Nope, I was wrong. Looks like you have to mix them together.

Thanks again,Joe.

I'm now doing with the home-make BB25%. If the home-make stuff doesnt work, I will try to get the authentic Australian BB25%. If it does not work too, I will switch to the Perm. I had tried Perm 5% before, which is the brand-name product from Canada and very expensive, now I'm considering the Perm 10% which is much more inexpensive. Because I cant order or purchase it directly from China, I have to plan the purchase in advance.
