Need encouragement. I’m sure that we have a rodent or birdmite. I found three on me and caught one with tape. The vet said it looked like either a rodent or birdmite – she thinks bird. Does anyone recover from this? I read some posts by skf…the after affects are terrifying me as I have small children that are having to endure this as well. Please tell me people recover…

Have you joined the Yahoo Group called birdmitesorg yahoo group? Please join that group, and read some of the archives there. Yes, people recover. bird mites are more difficult because they last longer in the environment and tend to be more environmental, than scabies mites. The Cyonara and an insect growth regulator (Nylar, if they have it) seem to work well in the environment. You can purchase them from doyourownpestcontrol dot com.
People use all sorts of things. Some of them are:
Epsom Salts
Borax
Essential Oils
Roach Prufe
Boric Acid
Dawn Dishwashing Liquid
Coconut Oil
Windex
Neem Oil
Tea Tree Oil
Sardex Benzyl Benzoate
Cedarcide
Benzemul (Benzyl Benzoate)
Sulphur
Diatomacious Earth (DE)
Olive Oil
Arm and Hammer Laundry Detergent
Ammonia
Vinegar
Rubbing Alcohol
MSM
MMS
Bleach
Head and Shoulders in the blue bottle selenium sulfide 1%
Supplements
Benzyl Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide
Sea Salt

YES PEOPLE RECOVER.
