<quoted text>Hey Orlando, still doing the same. 8 tubes of permethrin, and did 1 tube of Eurax and nothing. Did the clove bud oil and grape seed oil....helped with the sensations a little bit but....still having new burrows/blisters and rashes. LOL....seems like we have the same problem....boyfriend is tired of all the money being spent so I'm going to have to start sneaking in different things to try to get rid of these.

Weird thing....when I woke up this morning to get our son up for school....there was blood on my pillowcase, looked but I don't know if I scratched/itched while I was sleeping but didn't find anything on me.

So far...everything has been a no go. Got another derm appointment on the 4th....and I don't think I'll be doing any more permethrin because it clearly isn't helping.
Seriously you should be ingesting oral ivermectin right now. You are past the point where topicals can cure. You most likely have bird mites if they are in your scalp. Some doctors will say there is no cure for bird mite infestations in humans but if the oral ivermectin is not successful in killing them off the get on the "Albendazole / Valbazen is curing me" thread and follow Sweat Kitten's instructions. You can be cured in thirty days and it's inexpensive. Best of luck to you.

I have done one dose of RX Stromectol back in January....it didn't help. Also doing the horse paste right now as well...every 3-5 days and that isn't even slowing them down. Out of me, my boyfriend, and our son....I'm supposedly the only one having this problem....I'm thinking it is a combo of mites...if that is even possible. I have the rashes, biting/stinging, crawling, feels like movements under my skin, and have seen little black and white specks(when I feel the biting and crawling) I have also tried some other things with really no success. My very first round with permethrin did clear my back and shoulders up a lot but they are coming back to those areas. Is it possible since probably actually catching these in Oct. 2013 that I'm still the only one having the reaction? When esp my boyfriend isn't really taking any precautions in not getting them?

I know some people have had good results with the Valbazen....I'm currently talking to one right now that is taking it for I think 2-3 weeks so far. Could you please private message me so I could speak to you about it and you could give me more information? Thank you!

Can you have scabies just in the hair with no skin problems? Is scabies one stage of body lice? The whole experience is strange. All the cold weather has definitely helped me. I am not inching all the time, it's mostly at night and it's not every night. Dropping carbs has helped me infinitely. I know it's some kind of parasite because my kids are affected also. Taking baths with bleach, and seeing lots of tiny black specks.

Hi Sosad,
Sorry. I haven't been on here in a couple weeks. I've been working a lot. I don't really itch much at work so it's actually a relief for me to go to work.

I've been alternating between clove oil mixed with TTO and spraying peroxide and borax diluted in water on myself. While I'm using the stuff, things seems a little better. But I think some of that stuff gets absorbed into my skin because I sometimes feel sick as a dog with nausea and I have to chill out. Today was one of those days. So I haven't used much today and honestly the itching, biting and crawling is no different. I really don't know what to do.

My husband doesn't want to hear anymore talk of scabies or the cats having mites or us having mites. He freaks out if he sees me cleaning too much. So I really don't know what to do. I'm afraid I will have this forever. I don't have anyone to talk to about this. People thinks you're either dirty or crazy. It's a very hopeless feeling. But I guess I will keep trying various things until something works.

I hope you find relief soon!

Hey OIG, I have sorta noticed that too....if I keep busy, it isn't AS bad...still notice it just easier to ignore at a point. When I'm at school in class it isn't so bad...because I have to pay attention to something else...also joined a gym-sorta helps since I'm concentrating on something else, and tomorrow I'm going to try out their sauna, since some people have said it helps...don't think it is a cure...but something. I'll let you know how that one goes.

I noticed that when I used the neem soap for about a week then put on clove oil/grape seed oil mixture...it helped with the itching somewhat but still felt the crawling and biting. Never got sick though with any of the treatments I have done though.

Yeah, my boyfriend esp. and our son are through hearing me talk about this and asking if they are having any symptoms. Boyfriend doesn't really act like this is a issue and doesn't seem to care about what he calls "my stupid little problem"....I think I have a nodular scabies on my right middle finger and went and showed him that and all these marks and rashes on my arms and he just said in a rushed tone....sorry and walked away. Pretty sad he is acting like this after almost 13 years together and a 7 year old child. My boyfriend has gotten our son to start thinking the same way as him, that they are incapable of catching this. They said after almost 6 months....they would of gotten it by now and both won't take any precautions. So I am pretty much alone in this right now, so believe me I do understand....like you, I'll keep fighting this until something works as best I can.

Keep me posted on what your doing and your progress.

Scared to do it and think about it but am considering going on the Albenz/Val treatment...but want to get all the information I can about it before just jumping right into it. It will kind of be the last thing for me to try. Scared to go that route but....nothing else seems to work at this point.

Scary thoughts but I too am starting to believe that I'll have these mites forever.:(

I seem to get the best relief from the clove oil. It's only temporary though. I don't feel any crawling for about an hour. Then the crawling and biting comes back. So I reapply and reapply which I can do during the day. But I can't do that while I'm sleeping. I don't understand it. You would think after awhile they would DIE!

Yea, I've gotten the same argument from my husband. He says there's no way I could have scabies and not him. I went for an entire year without bringing it up to him. I finally couldn't take it anymore. Needless to say, it didn't go very well.

I know you've said before that you feel them crawling under your skin. Does it feel like a bubbling or popping sensation? That's kind of what it feels like to me. It's only on my shins and it's the same sensation you would get if you took a bubble bath and held your leg up out of the water and as the bubbles pops, that is what it feels like to me. I read on another thread where someone described it as carbon dioxide under the skin and someone else said it must be the dead mites coming to the surface. But I feel this sensation pretty much all the time. So I'm thinking that is them moving under my skin. I'm not really sure. It's a strange sensation.

I would be really scared to try that Albenz. I'm even afraid to try Ivermectin. I am very sensitive to meds and I get side effects from everything. So I don't think I would do well. Have you tried Benzo Benzoate or Lindane?

Well, let me know if anything works. And I'll do the same. Hang in there!

The clove oil for me did the same....only just for a while. The sensations besides the crawling and biting or itching I get, is like that but more of a movement or like a vibration feeling under the skin. I get them in my hands and fingers, behind my neck, in my thigh and lower legs, and recently within the last few days, like around my spine. Yeah...the Albenz/Val does bother me but some people seem to have good results with it from what I understand but I would really rather take the human form instead of the stuff for animals...also read somewhere online that Albenz is a consideration of treatment if other RXs don't work. I haven't tried the BB or Lindane....I'm going to try the Sardex II, it has I think 29% BB in it...it is a spray and is used for dogs with mange.

OIG...also started using Pine Tar soap....it doesn't help with the crawling or biting/stinging sensations but does take away some of the itching, at least for me. Also...it dried my skin out even more than what it already was and it doesn't smell the greatest. I'm going to keep using this and see how it goes. If it goes well...will continue using it and see what happens.

i doubt your boyfriend and son have them. don't obsess over their not being treated. focus on yourself. use only whole leaf aloe vera gel everywhere, except for internal areas. when they run, you'll know it. rub in the WLAVG in those areas. it's actually good for your skin. no smell either. in eyes use a solution containing boric acid (someone else suggested a drop of ivermectin-worth considering but resistance is possible), in ears something like a tea tree oil and coconut oil mixture, in vagina-once again-a boric acid solution (this is old school treatment for vaginitis). for the inside and outside of the tip of your nose, you'll have to apply something often, like sulfur ointment mixed with castor oil, but the key is really to apply often. for scalp it's either a boric acid solution or whole leaf aloe vera juice, depending on your hair type. the juice can get sticky.
good luck.
I think Katee is right, the bugs are inside you, they have no interest in your upholstered furniture or closet full of shoes.
Please freeze shoes in a bag for 24 to 36 hours and clean chairs with Lysol Wipes or if using plastic, spray with 2 tsp. bleach to spray bottle with water. They do leave your body. It is the way they have survived for hundreds of years. I clean my hardwood chair off and I sit on a lounge chair with plastic cover every evening which I either use Lysol Wipes or spray with bleach. Everytime I use wipes to clean off chairs, I see the mites. You can see them with naked eye once in a while and I use a magnifying glass. Whenever you need to find out if you actually have scabies, you could go to a college where they study bugs and have them verify that you have scabies. Hope this helps, but you do have to clean every area that you spend time in.
