I took Moxidectin 3 times, at 250 mark for my 160 lbs weight, with peanut butter. It is better than ivermectin. Symptoms free for couple days, then pin come back but less than I took stromectol.
I have high blood pressure & diabetes II. Except everytime I got motor ataxia and eye flashes at the corner of my eyes for the first several hours. So now I switch to ivcare. I may try one more time at 200/150lbs to see if I still get the eye flash.
Well I read all the so called science and it made sense that it would work because of the extensive half life but in my personal experience it had the short coming of all of the avermectins , resistance happens very quickly so it just turned into a waste of time.

What is working is taking borax internally, Fightingheretoo is cured and straightup also . The thread is "borax solution cure".
The most important is to take the 1/4 teaspoon of borax in a litre of water daily. Borax won't hurt you at all at a specified dose. There is a lot of misinformation on the net about borax.

There is info on earthclinic.com under "mite infestation cures", The most important is that you drink it. It works.

I wouldn't recommend moxidectin to anyone after my experience with it.

It only messes with your lungs if you breath it, drinking it won't bother them. I had lung issues and was diagnosed with interstichal lung disease. It actually turned out to be a dairy alergy and I'm breathing fine now, yes doctors are mostly jerks.

I took tons of Ivermectin and Albendazole , my parasites got resistant to it very fast.

good luck.

Unfortunately it takes a while to figure out if something is working.
At least you have a backup plan. Hang in there.

Scabies caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite affects many people worldwide and has been recently recognized by the WHO as a truly neglected tropical disease. Currently available treatments are insufficient to overcome this insidious disease and its co-morbidities for example impetigo, rheumatic heart disease and post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis. Treatment management is a major issue, as problems with compliance as well as mite resistance to current drugs are reported. Data have accumulated indicating that moxidectin could be a genuine new candidate drug for sustainable scabies control. To provide proof of concept, we utilized an experimental scabies pig model that closely resembles the human route of scabies infection. We demonstrated that a single moxidectin dose, when compared with the currently recommended two-doses ivermectin treatment routine, achieved a better and faster acaricidal efficacy. Importantly, the skin half-life of moxidectin is longer, potentially covering the entire mite life cycle. Our baseline data demonstrate in principle the potential and feasibility of moxidectin treatment for scabies, thereby enabling the move into larger high-powered efficacy and dose ranging studies in human populations. Moxidectin could indeed play a game-changing role in scabies control and has the potential to accelerate the steps towards elimination of this insidious disease.

I'm 57, 145 lbs and my son is 130 lb. The tube of the Moxidectin Quest Gel contains 20 mg, enough for 1,150 lb horse. So how much would my son and I take and how often. Someone on this thread said 1,250 but that's the lbs on the horse paste Ivermectin. What the heck!

Great... I'll go over there and join and message you. I've had scabies since 2007.

As far as the Moxidectin goes I would do a dose based on your weight and not exceed that because I've read that it has strong side effects. The label should have dosage instructions, if it doesn't you can call the makers and ask what's the dose per weight.

I've never done Moxidectin because I've been too afraid to try it so please be careful!

Sorry, I just re read your question and it seems I did't answer it. 2 - 2.5 mg would be your dose I would think. I would just do one dose and see how you feel.
