Someone please help me :(
I've been battling these pests for 4 months now. I've been to the ER, immediate care and the dermatologist only to be told I have nothing.

I itched for a couple weeks and then got a big bump on my abdomen, upper thigh and a very personal place(which I did not show docs). I had severe bruising from scratching! I got some perm, it seemed to help-made the bumps go away but I believe I had gotten reinfested so I got more perm (this was about a couple months later--still itched before I felt like they were truly back again). Then two days after using perm I had gotten three bumps lined up on my leg, same thing next day on my boob, one on my arm, one on my left foot, and three on my right foot. The second treatment of perm didn't work.I feel crawling and biting everywhere. I've tried the borax bath, that worked for like 5 minutes. I think my dog has it too. I got revolution for her but doesn't seem like it's working. I also think I am getting it from my clothes/couch... I use borax with both but still feel the crawlies!!!! Someone.... anyone ... help :(

Listen people. For me epsom salt is the answer. It works well!! I will soak in it every chance I get to make sure the hooooooorible bugs don't get in me and eat me up. The sulfur in the epsom salt kills them I believe. Please try soakin in a hot bath with the salt every night or atleast 2 nights straight. It will work out hopefully everyone. I've cried over the thoughts and pains of scabies and hopefully I am finally fiinding the light. I'm not religious but I found myself praying to god being as though that seemed like the only hope left. Love u all.
This sounds like easy and economical

Try using Clove Bud Oil, dilute it in some oilve oil, some people apply it directly if they can stand it, it is very strong so be careful it can burn you. They say Bud oil kills the mites, the eggs I am not sure, they say it weakens them or penetrates, I don't know how long that takes to do or how true it is, but I definitely would try Bud oil. Also buy some "Sulfer of flowers" or "sublimed sulfer" from amazon.com , mix some up with petroleum jelly, this also helps and is soothing for the itch, they say sulfer does kill mites also, but I don't know how long exactly, maybe 4-days to a week before you start feeling better. Search this forum for info on clove bud oil and sulfer uses, it will help.

Good luck to you

Try using olive leaf extract, this kills the fungus inside you that the mites are attracted to.

You should try sulfur soap. Work it into the skin with a bath brush or cloth and let dry. Every day or so use aloe vera gel from the plant or from the bottle. Try to get organic aloe gel food grade. I have found that sulfur soap works well and the aloe is also very good at stopping scabies.

Yea, the Aloe vera plant gel may be a good thing for my face, it is so dry from the treatments, yes I have had creepy crawlers on my face and feet , since I have been treating my body for over a month now, they have moved to my face and feet. I actually used kleen free on my face, directly yesterday evening...and it stopped them I think, even though kleen free is a plant enzyme product it is still very drying. I also used the clove leaf oil and olive oil mixture for my scalp, clove leaf oil directly on my feet, I pray I have some success with this.

I tried aloe vera ... The gel of the plant not the one in the bottle. Apply to affected area and leave ...after a few minutes rub area in circles and you will find it sort of melts the bumps and turns it into some sort of powdery stuff and just melts away. Wash off and reapply the aloe gel until there are no more bumps.... Do try this. I have and it worked.

My mother came back from holiday with a sever case of scabies, and despite avoiding contact with her it was barely a week before I started getting bites.
I looked into the chemicals on the market and with the exception of sulfur they are all insecticides that work as neurotoxins. This means there are probably as yet underplayed-or undiscovered effects on how they effect us humans.
The problem with sulfur is that it takes over 4 days to work, it stinks, and burns like hell as it gets into their bites.
But I wasnít going to wait for some low level cream to arrive, so my first attempt was with garlic.
1. I didnít want to dilute it with water so I simply peeled them, got a cheese scrater and smeared the resulting stuff on my skin. On bites it burns like a hot poker for about 15 minutes, and stinks to high heaven.
And despite wearing the same cloths, using 2 applications, and letting it be on my body for 4 days it only worked somewhat well. Basically after my wash I had a whole day of no biting before somehow new ones turned up again. Maybe it was just re-infection from shoes-or cloths? Maybe if I had left it more than 4 days the results would be better? But I work at a supermarket so with their smell, it wasnít really an option.
In addition some funus-molds that grow on rotten garlic are highly toxic. So I fell you should wash the stuff off after, at least 4 days (and itís difficult even in a hot bath). I would wash it off, even if I put a new application on afterwards.
NICOTINE IS INCREDIBLY TOXIC. Read my post properly or you may kill yourself.
2. So I did some more thinking and remembered how nicotine is used as an insecticide. I remember reading how the scabies mite is actually an insect (distantly related to dust mites), and how my grandparents used to use nicotine insecticides on their chickens roosts to kill their mites. In addition my grandfather used it in prisoner of war camp to kill his mites.
BUTÖ
Nicotine is EXTREMELY TOXIC. 100% of the nicotine from about 5 (strong) cigarettes will kill a man (thatís 60 thousandths of a gram).
Ad just one cigaretteís worth will make a toddler extremely ill.
The only reason why smokers can smoke more than 5 cigarettes is because about 92% is destroyed by the cigarettes burning, and only about 25% of the rest (i.e. 2% total) is absorbed from the smoke.
Nicotine is so incredibly powerful that one gram (about a cubic centimetre in volume) will kill over 15 adult men. This makes nicotine is one of the most deadly chemicals on earth.
So DO NOT!!! DO NOT!!! use nicotine insecticide (from off the shelf) on your body. It will kill you (for certain). And donít drink it!!!
Instead: Itís very important to understand how Nicotine Poisoning actually works so that you understand how to avoid exposing yourself to risk.
Top cut a long story short the poisoning works by overloading your neurons in your brain with information. This means the brain canít run your body.
BUT If you donít overload them youíll be fine.
In fact nicotine only has a biological half life in the body of about 2 hours (i.e. half is removed every 2 hours).
Thatís why smokers are able to consume (normally) deadly amounts of nicotine over a week, or indeed a lifetime.
In fact nicotine is a bit like alcohol as far as: One litre of vodka, in one hour, on an empty stomach will almost certainly kill you (thatís if you donít sick it up). But a litre of vodka over a week or month wonít. In fact this way you could easily do 12 litres over a year with no serious health effects.
WHAT I DIDÖ
Points to remember first: Nicotine is 100% soluble in water.
Nicotine is easily absorbed through the skin; this is how nicotine patches work.
Nicotine effects different people differently. Be very careful in what you do, maybe do you're own research or you might die.
In other words drink and smoke like hell= you will get rid of scabies!
Easy, but your liver, pancreas, lungs etc will take their "part" of the cure....

I was wondering about nicotine so I did a search on scabies and nicotine and it brought me to this thread. My lady friend did not get scabies we were together before I knew that the itching I was feeling was from scabies, She is a smoker I quit 12 years ago. I doubt if you have to bathe in nicotine for it to work on scabies, I do not want to start smoking again but I am thinking about using the patch to get the nicotine into my blood. Any thoughts from anyone?

Before you jump to conclusions you need a real diagnosis with a skin scarping from an infectious disease specialist. Avoid regular MD's and Dermatologists, they'll waste your time and money. There are a few different infections that give the same symptoms as scabies and if your lady friend didn't catch it then it could be something else.

I am using Permethrin Cream 5%. My doctor prescribed something else that isn't made anymore. He assured me the old prescription worked but he wasn't sure about the new creme. It does seem to stop them for a day with new bites starting later in the evening. I've started rubbing in the cream into the bites and I do a complete rubdown with it daily or it spreads. I also had problems with my doctor's office help and the precription wasn't ever ready so I went over into Mexico and bought their brand Sacbisan. It seems to work better and today I have no new bites. A friend went over and bought a bigger bottle of Scabisan Plus Permetrina Emulsion still a 5% creme but a much bigger amount. I don't know how that will compare to the cream but the pharmacist in Mexico. The tube of American creme costs $90 and in Mexico it's equivalent is $4.88 and you don't need a prescription...usually. My friend got the same thing...we both rescue dogs...and she got rid of hers with the Mexican creme. I feel better today after using the Mexican version. I also did something stupid. I put fingernail polish on the zillion bites I have and it stops the itching and crawly feeling. I'm sure it's really doing nothing but I don't feel crawly today. I have everything I sit in covered in plastic...those cheap painters sheets. I boil water on the stove and then let it cool just a bit and dump the plastic sheets in the water and let them sit until he water cools and then wash them in the hottest water my hot water tank can muster. I used Dawn dishwashing soap because it does kill bugs but probably not mites but I'll try anything to stop this. I also dump Odoban in my washing machine which is a disinfectant and deoderant and great for cleaning and bought by the gallon at Sam's Warehouse. I use it for cleaning anyway and it's dilutable and really gets rid of smells and cleans. I'm off to get Borax and maybe some sulfur soap. It can't hurt to use most everything and I'd like to use something other than the cream daily since that isn't recommended. My friend said she used the Mexican stuff and showered and put on the cream and it went away....I hope that works for me.

<quoted text>
As far as the Post scabies question, I don't know, I have crawling on my feet and scalp and it has not subsided even with my normal clove oil/olive oil regime. I did put hand sanitizer on some parts of my body and scalp a few days ago and it stoped the crawling for almost half a day, so I will be doing this again tonight for relief. Also, with my symptoms and with the last three doctor appointments, they say I don't have scabies (nothing on hands and feet and no visible bumps because I've been treating with clove oil/sulfer for two months), possibly folliculitis (staph infection), and if I do , it could be parasitic because I definitely have crawling and can visually see the mites (not just black specks, actual bugs), which alot of people get pissed off and say you can't see them, but I can definitely see what has come out of me the past month. I saved some of the mites and will send photos to anyone who wishes to view them. My next venture is to go back to my internist after she reviews my bloodwork (which includes parasite tests) I will then ask her to refer me to and infectious disease specialist, not a dermatologist (last derm refused to give me a scraping because of no visible scabies like bumps). I know I don't have morgellons, no lesions, no fibers, no bumps anymore...so it must be some kind of mite infestation. all feedback is welcomed.
