here is the chart: 25lbs=.2ml 35lbs=.3ml 45lbs=.4ml 55lbs=.5ml 65lbs=.6ml 75lbs=.7ml 85lbs=.8ml 95lbs=.9ml 110lbs=1ml 121lbs=1.1ml 132lbs=1.2ml 143lbs=1.3ml 154lbs=1.4ml 165lbs=1.5ml 176lbs=1.6ml 187lbs=1.7ml 198lbs=1.8ml 209lbs=1.9ml 220lbs=2ml 231lbs=2.1 242lbs=2.2ml 253lbs=2.3ml 264lbs=2.4ml 275lbs=2.5ml 286lbs=2.6ml 297lbs=2.7ml 308lbs=2.8ml 319lbs=2.9ml 330lbs=3ml 341lbs=3.1ml 352lbs=3.2ml 363lbs=3.3ml 374lbs=3.4ml 385lbs=3.5ml 396lbs=3.6ml 407lbs=3.7ml 418lbs=3.8ml
im stopping here, if you weigh more than 418lbs then just add on .1ml for every 11 lbs over 418lbs that you weigh. if your weight is inbetween numbers go with the dose for the next higher amount- so if you weigh 114lbs you would dose for 121lbs- not 110lbs.
These doses are not maximum doses. Your Scabies mites may be resistant to low ivermectin doses. When I had Scabies the doctor prescribed 12 mg which is the old dose from 20 years ago that is not based on weight. The weight dose may also not be high enough. I was cured after I started double the weight based dose in combination with full body topical Permethrin. I started with Permethrin 5% Cream but it simply was not strong enough so I moved on to Advantix II Blue with 45% Permethrin. I hope this helps.

oh and the second and third times i got it i knew what i had right away because i was familiar with the symptoms so i was able to take the ivermectin within 3 weeks the second time and within days the third time. i didnt even have to see a doctor the third time, i knew. and please dont think i re-infested myself because i was cured for 2 years between the first and second times and i was cured for 9 months between the second and third times. each time it gets easier and shorter and the third time i wasnt even itchy, i just noticed i had about 5 red bumps that came up and itched after a really hot shower so i quickly dosed with ivermectin and i didnt really have any itching at all except that one time in the shower and then in the shower a few times for like 2weeks after that. i get it from my contact with the homeless and i will probably get it again but now i know that its no big deal, just dose properly with ivermectin and throw everything that can be thrown in the drier on hot for 20 min. i dont even spray with pesticides, clean with borax, nothing beyond normal cleaning, because i realized by looking at how the same mite sarcoptes scabiei is treated in livestock, they dont clean the pasture with bleach, they dont bleach the barn or the stalls that the horses are in, they dont put the saddle in the drier, they just dose the horse or cows with ivermectin properly and the host cant support the mites, they die off. its that simple. the two main reason people get re-infested is because they are using things like permethrin and arm and hammer detergent that dont work to kill all the mies, just most or some. also there are asymptomatic carriers who are crawling with scabies and never develop symptoms which means they are never itchy, they never get bumps or pustules or anything but they are conagious! im sorry that ivermectin is not being used by doctors to treat scabies or head lice because it would make things so much easier on everyone- esp school childern who are missing school. there is plenty of info out there about permethrin resistant lice and permethrin resistant scabies i dont know for the life of me why the doctors havent got this yet- as far as ivermectin being perscribed for either condition- it has to do with the FDA approving it for use for those conditions- if you walk into a doctors office infested with the parasite that causes river blindness which many third world children adopted by parents from the U.S. are- then the doctor sends you home with ivermectin to give to your little new son or daughter but if you come in 3 months later with the same child and he or she had contracted lice or scabies at daycare, you can forget about getting ivermectin from the same doctor for the same child. its madness, but maybe will change soon. in the meantime, there is ivermectin available at the feed and farm stores.
Hi. I've been with this mite, whatever it is, scabies, bird, rat, and have one treatment, which is all I could get 3 doctors and 2 derms and now at 8 months, with thousands invested, and Im not scared anymore just pissed and frustrated at our medical establishment.
I'm going with your awesome instructions.
Did you use anything topical?
Do I need to worry if they are going to go to another family member, or do they die on me?
So hopefully if you still follow this you can give me a little more info. Thank you so much for all this info. It has me ready to go to the feed store!

I really don't think you should double the dose. On the syringe it has dose per weight for horses, follow that. I have one right here called 'maximec', for just over my weight is like one marked section. Take a section every few days or so.
Mind you a couple of weeks ago I was so desperate I took a whole one, I must tell you it made my heart race worryingly and my vision went a bit weird too.
It does seem to have been more effective than the perm. creme.
Yay for horse wormers!!

Fred? How are you doing with the topical Iver?

When I had Scabies I tried the Ivermectin Horse Paste (Apple flavor) and even though I took double the dose orally it wasn't as effective for me as the actual Stromectol ivermectin tablets. Applying the Horse Paste topically also had no effect. But it was cheap, about $7 on Amazon.com .

I also bought Sardex II by Happy Jack, a dog mange remedy with 29% Benzyl Benzoate for about $12 a can. It is very powerful stuff, a strong odor too. I sprayed it in the palm of my hand and rubbed it on my scalp, it was very effective although a bit over-powering. If you have a severe case of Scabies and the topical iver or Permethrin is not cutting it you should try Sardex.

I have been misdiagnosed for my scabies for 5 years now. I have Noromectin in my refrigerator for my dogs and had no idea I could take it for this ailment. I have been given prescriptions for Grifulvin cream which cost me $145 for a skin rash and was also told once that I had Folliculitus (vaginal area) from shaving and was given Nystatin and antibiotics. I have suffered for 5 years thinking I had herpes (yet the symptoms, as you know, are not herpes like or internal) or some other horrible STD (although scabies is considered an STD). I have been treated for pin worms and treated myself for pin worms several times at $20 a pop. I have treated my vaginal area for poison ivey (that was painful)and used all kinds of home remedies to rid myself of this ailment over the years. I finally got the rash on my outer elbow 2 weeks ago and at a recheck at my doctors office (Health Dept.)last week for blood work I told her that I just started dealing with a flea infestation at my home and wondered if this new rash on my elbow was from flea bites. She said it looked like possible scabies and that I needed to not scratch it and get rid of the fleas asap before I had to do scabies treatment. Now that I look scabies up, I believe it is what I have been suffering from for FIVE EFFING YEARS!!! Talk about being misdiagnosed!!! I have seen 4 different doctors and would have seen more but have been embarrassed and scared because no doctor has helped me yet! I will be taking the Noromectin as soon as I sign off and will let everyone know how things progress. Fingers crossed and a HUGE THANK YOU to andreaamericangi rl and the gentleman before her for bringing this particular medicine up and for all of the information in the posts that have helped me and others. GOD BLESS YOU!

The topical Iver failed even at huge doses. I'm having very proming results now with %5 monosulfuram soap . Read the recent posts in the imidacloprid thread or the how do I get rid of scabies once and for all thread.

Hi Fred, did you ever try Clove Oil? I was exchanging emails with a woman who says she rubbed it on undiluted and that it burned the hell out of her skin but also wiped out all the mites and eggs. Wonder if you went in that direction and your results?

I've tried everything that held any promise and yes clove oil extensively . The in vitro time to kill with clove oil is 15 minutes so If you can get Clove oil down to the bottom of all your burrows for 15 minutes which after you've had this for a few months will be impossible.
It doesn't penetrate deep enough unless you take a bath in pure clove oil. I had a quarter sized hole in my leg where they chewed down to the flesh. It took me 3 weeks with hydrogen peroxide and clove oil to get the majority of them out of there. I was able to get the rest out by applying martins 35% permethrin SFR directly to the wound, you think that clove oil stings. But it's all healed up now and looking pretty good. My skin now is in pretty good shape. I have no trouble going to the store, there was a time when i would scare people, I've been fighting the battle hard to get to where I am now.
A lot of people have tried clove oil and moved on. I worked with clove , thyme, oregano, citral, pine, lemongrass , the list goes on, been there done that.

My thought is the quality of the posts on this forum have really gone down hill in the last few months, people start a new thread to ask some lame question because they can't be bothered to read or pollute the good threads with a bunch of idiocy, It's frustrating. Now I understand how Rick Perry got elected.
I heard on the news yesterday that 40% of Americans believe that earth is less than 10,000 years old. Did Fox News put something in the drinking water?

Cashing my chips in here. I can learn much more from the internet.

After months of boxar baths washing everything everyday wiping myself down with hydrogen peroxide then bleach baths then pure bleach wipe down. The baths only moved them all to my neck. Bleach wipes killed them but not all of them. The Iver worked with a full body rub down of VEET hair remover one day and all gone and most important 4 nights in 4 different hotels. But after the VEET and IVER no more bits. (Yes I did say full body rub down with hair remover)

Just as confused as Jennifer above. No one specifies how to take the ivermectin. Is it ingested? How? With what? Do I just open up and say ah and expel the liquid from the syringe directly onto my tongue? Can someone please clarify? I am close to doing this but I need a little more direction. What do I take it with? Water? Please advise. Thank you.
