Hot Air Sauna Box Treatment for Scabies

According to the CDC:

How long can scabies mites live?
On a person, scabies mites can live for as long as 1-2 months. Off a person, scabies mites usually do not survive more than 48-72 hours. Scabies mites will die if exposed to a temperature of 50°C (122°F) for 10 minutes.

What if a wood or metal box were constructed that were large enough for an individual to stand in that trapped hot, dry air that was approximately 120-125 degrees? Perhaps if you attached a thermometer and drilled a hair dryer port into the side, where the air would blow directly onto a flat piece of wood or metal (so as to avoid burns from having a direct air stream onto the body), then you could remove the hair dryer when the air inside reached the right temperature.

There are some head lice services that offer a similar service, but only for the head. If you could stand up with your legs and arms spread so as to allow complete hot air coverage to the entire surface of your body for 15 minutes, this seems like it would do the trick.

Actually, even easier: Find a sauna and stand in it for 20 minutes. I just read they run from 150 to 200 degrees!

BTW if you decide to go to a sauna, I would recommend standing in flip-flops or Crocs and not sitting down, so as to avoid passing it to someone else. (Even though theoretically it should not survive at that heat.)
