Was diagnosed with scabies six days ago. Did one permethrin 5% treatment and one 3mg stromectol tablet prescribed by my doctor. Washed all clothes, bedding, pillows in hot water. Did permethrin treatment on my 15 year old son, also, though he has shown no signs of scabies. Six days later, my rash continues to worsen: it covers much of my body, and I itch, and feel pin pricks. For two nights it seemed to have diminished at night, but last night it came back during the prime time (scabies seem to party all night). Tomorrow night I am doing one final permethrin treatment (and my son, too). Will rewash everything, etc. This may count as one of the worst five events of my life.
Cortizone that was prescribed provides no itch relief. I believe I have nodular scabies, which is harder to treat. This sucks. The weird thing is I have had no sexual contact with anyone in 3 1/2 years, and I am working from home, so I am not exposed to a whole lot these days. It's a very quiet, somewhat more secluded time of my life. So why in the world would I contract this grotesque parasite now? Okay, I'm done whining. Will report back when I am cured!!!

PLEASE HELP! I honestly have thought of taking my life. June- had bird mites attack us ( my husband, two children & I). It took months to figure it out. We got rid of them in our home and environment. Kids are fine now. I took ivermectin for 2 weeks ( everyday) and permethrin topical. I also did bleach/borax baths. I have had no itching or bites for weeks, but I have tingling- not crawling- some crawling from time to time- but the tingling and pin pricks are worse than when I was actually getting bitten! I also feel like I have cool coming from my legs and a weird feeling in my mouth- can anyone help? Tell me what this is? How long before- if ever I can feel normal again!?

I have not beat it as of tonight, I got bit. I've tried so many things. I did spot treat the bite with perm. These forums are helpful but scares me when someone just disappears. I wish there was a live chat for support. It's a very lonely and depressing situation...

Some mites die real easy some don't so the success stories aren't always dealing with a tough case. Something that has cured the tough cases is found on the "Borax solution cure" thread. Permethrin an Ivermectin don't cure, only rarely.

Crawling and pinpricks mean you're still infected.

Wish everyone the best that is taking borax and water. That's scary.

Leslie,

The reason why you feel worse when you are in front of electronics is because you and your family are being afflicted by Morgellons. This is a synthetic man made bug that is in rain water and also on most clothing that has any percentage of cotton. They mostly take the form of what looks like peach fuss or fibers on clothing. I have even seen them on children's toys that have cotton on them. I went to WAL-MART yesterday and they were all over new cotton sweaters and other clothing. The fibers will try to embed themselves into your skin and that is when you will feel the crawling, itching, tingling or biting.

Taking hot showers or baths opens your pores and makes this worse. The whole get out and exercise fad makes it worse, because when you sweat your pores open and they can more easily penetrate your skin. The same will happen if you are soaking in water or taking long baths. If you read my thread you will see that these are nightmare to deal with:
http://www.topix.com/forum/health/scabies/TPS...

Drying clothes in high heat will create even more fibers on infected clothing. You will need a vacuum with disposable bags to suck up the fibers that are probably on the ceiling of your home. As you shower or are watching TV they will float and fly down, than land of you and you will start feeling the crawling, itching, etcÖ They purposely land on your food as well, so you ingest them. My thread explains this nightmare that started 4 months ago. But most of us have been getting infected for a while and just not realized it. This stuff has been getting sprayed into the sky by the air force for close to a decade. Lately they have been doing a lot more spraying and thatís why so many people are getting infected with what they think is scabies, bird mites, etc...

By making yourself more alkaline you are just becoming a battery for the Morgs. This will just spread them more quickly all over your body. The Internet is currently being policed and it will get much worse. The most common cure for Morgellons and now mites is to become more alkaline. Read what this site says about becoming more alkaline:

Quote "The nanomachines which precipitate Morgellons thrive in alkaline ph conditions and use the body's bio-electric energy and other (unidentified) elements for power. There is evidence that certain of the tiny machines possess their own internal batteries as well."

The human body runs at 7.365 ph which is already alkaline. When you make it acidic by poor lifestyle choices you set up a perfect environment for mites and morgellons if you wish, to breed.

You've been consistently posting a bunch of nonsense and passing it off as brilliance, time for you to shut down the meth lab.

I'm not on Meth. I don't drink, smoke or do any kind of drug. I have a VERY healthy diet, exercise and don't eat much sugar or processed foods. What Iím sharing with you guys is data that I have found online, my own experiences and also observations of my environment both at home and when traveling to different locations. Iím not making this up. These fibers are almost everywhere that I have gone. It sounds like science fiction or some wild nightmare, but itís not. Iím not trying to push fear into anyone. Iím just trying to make you all understand that this stuff is almost anywhere you go and most people are not paying attention to it. Humans donít have super vision, so these fibers will not stand out unless you look for them. I canít deny what Iím seeing with my own eyes and I can assure you that I have lost my mind.

So you don't need a microscope? I've looked with a great magnifying glass but I don't see fibers or anything else.

Just so you know where you stand why don't you go to walmart and get the ph test strips from the pet section for aquariums. When I started the borax solution cure my ph was 6. now it's up to 7.0
after doing the regimen for 24 days now.

I read as much as you did i'm sure, most of the stuff you find on the net about scabies and what works is wrong but after torturing myself for 17 months with all kinds of so called cures finding something that actually does work is a lifesaver.

It cured 3 people already and is doing great things for others when we were all running out of hope. So Take your research and believe it or not but don't post negative sh*t about something that is saving people from this scourge. When it comes to body alkalinity and the borax cure you really just need to shut up about it.

I'm not saying it doesn't exist just saying that some people may really need to let the skin heal after all the chemicals they've used to treat scabies. Post scabies can last awhile, weeks months who knows and feel like scabies. I thought I had a fresh bite last night after weeks of being clear but I had also just watered plants outside so I think it was actually a mosquito ... Someone wrote in a forum that after scabies you have to re-set your brain... I agree.
