There is just one more thing that I wanted to post for you guys. For the crawling sensations, which is what bothered me the most, put an entire standard size box of the regular Arm and Hammer BAKING SODA, not the detergent, but the soda in a warm bath and soak for 20 minutes. Guaranteed to take away these sensations for a full 24 hours. We had the same presentation that Aaron describes. Very hard to see, no sores, but this crawling thing, and some itching. So, Aaron, maybe you could be cured following the regime that we did. PLEASE try it. The fact that you are not presenting an obvious infestation is a sign that your immune system is KICKING, if you know what I mean- maybe WE had the canine variety.

How I got rid of scabies in 7 days
First of all my stupid dermatologist didn’t think I had them she did a scrapping an everything. But after all that it turned out I did. So I had been treating myself with permethrin 5% every 7 days for about two month. That stuff does not work because they were in my hair and I could put it all over my scalp because my hair is long and curly.
So this is what I did:
1. Took stromectol (ivermectin) 6mg on a Monday
2. Put all my clothes in a plastic bags for that day and put a date on it to not touch it for 7 days
3. Put my mattress in a big plastic bag and the sheets over top of it ( you can get this from any mattress store for free, people use it when they are putting their mattress in a moving truck and don’t want it to get dirty)
4. I washed my sheets and pillow everyday ( I put them in the bath tub and boiled some water in a pot and poured that on the sheets, the washing machine water doesn’t really get that hot)
5. I wore plastic crocs everywhere in my house I didn’t not step foot on the carpet
6. I put plastic on my office chair at work and plastic on the seats in my chair, I also taped up my seat belt
7. Dipped all makeup brushes in water microwave on 4 minutes
8. On Sunday morning I took 6mg of stromectol again
I basically washed everything I used , even though I washed my sheet every day the first 3 times I treated myself I felt they were in my mattress and that’s why I wasn’t cured the first couple of times.
I hope this helps all of you, remember plastic is your friend through out the whole week, I have a cat and a dog, and they were not affected.

Hi Mee Too. Can you get your husband to switch the hot and cold tubes going from the wall to the machine. After this is done, you turn the knob to COLD wash. Then all laundry will be hot, both wash and RINSE cycle will come out hot, because you have switched the lines around.
I have hope that the PERMETHRIN will work for you guys. You are all young and healthy. You have removed the possible source of the infestation, the pets.

You had human scabies. Lucky you. I feel for us who suffer from canine sarc scabiei or bird/ rodent mites, which is way worse... and the resistant strain of demodex... I will try never to have skin to skin contact with anyone again... unless it is my husband and my kids!

Hi Mange, sorry you're having so much trouble. I'm careful about picking things up too, but think my own stuff developed from pretty normal stuff--to gone nuts.
Somebody brought up Collembola. I read some about that a while back. Just don't know about that 1. Yeah, this stuff just goes on and on. It started pretty mild, and have some wild and some mild times now. This is around 4 years for me. With the iver on me, they're starting to move again. Maybe it's waves of them dieing--I hope.

I have been doing some research, but I haven't found much yet. I have been thinking about this aspect of it alot. I am not sure who to ask because the docs say that humans will not have canine mites longterm, but I know that insects will mutate in a way that animals will not. I think that if the mites are desperate, they may infest a human. Have you seen the post on Scabies won't go away about the vermox in combination with the prescription topicals. Go ahead and look that over mange, and let me know what you think. Gld 2 hr frm u.

I have posted EVERYTHING that we did, and I beleive that the cream got ALMOST all of it, but not all, and then the Neem makes you taste bad to them, and Neem will interupt the molting and mating, the BERBERINE in the Goldenseal will kill so many, the bleach baths will take care if MANY, the citirizine will take care of a few, and then over time, there are just none left. PLUS, the herbs will strengthen the immune system and your body will begin to kill more and more as well. In other words, it is a COMBINATION of things that will eventually wear them down until they are too weak to mate if not dead.Like me, hee hee lol. Turmeric tastes very bad to them-they will starve before they will bite.

forgot one thing...the hot and cold shower treatments will kill almost everything left alive-no kidding. This is not for young children, or sickly persons.

I really think that the Iver, Vermox?, and permethrin are the best. For most, the cream alone is enough. This is about how to help those when that fails, and the doctors have a problem with that fact.

People don't keep bird and rodent mites on them for long peroids of time. I am sorry, but that is ridiculous. These mites will aggrevate the heck out of you, but they return to an old nest where the animal has left or died. Exterminaters will tell you, that there are certain kinds of mites that get in your house that are almost impossible to get rid of while there is a blood meal in the home. Some people react severly to the bites of these mites, and others, barely notice. I DID find one report that said there HAVE been a few rare reports of people who were actually INFESTED with the canine DEMODEX, which can in the dogs, turn into a kind of mange. There are at least two types of mange that can affect a dog. I don't know if a vet alone would have the ability to distinguish between the two. The treatment WAS different than for human Scabies or even for dog Scabies-Benzyl Benzoate. I HOPE I remembered how to spell it right. Lucky me? I have not been without mites for very long. I lost 30 pounds during the ordeal, among other things. I watched my child suffer. I haven't told you how long we had it. No, just made it barely. Not lucky. They use Vermox on dogs for mange now too. Good Luck to you-I don't blame you for being so pissed. It gets to you 100x more when you have to watch your children go through this. I will keep trying to find information on the canine/human mange thing.

Mange-Have you ever considered that maybe you have somehow been infected with the Canine Demodex mites? It IS rare, but it has happened. It can mimic the sarcoptic scabei in dogs and humans. Google-treatments for canine demodex mange. These will be dog treatments, but this is what was reported to work for these rare infestations in humans. IT IS NOT INCURABLE. NONE of these people are uncurable. That is the good news.

P.S. I'm thinkin' the Vermox with a topical for you would definately be worth a couple of shots! Does anyone know what Armed was taking the Vermox for? It is for worms also. He is better if not cured I hear, unless I dreamed it. TIRED.

I am cured. I beat it, but it took months and a lot of experimenting:

I was allergic too, and battled hives. Needed Betamethasone to get rid of the swelling. They like darkness and moisture and warmth. I would strongly recommend taking 2 or 3 Turmeric capsules daily while doing battle. Add the usual of Borax, high heat on prolonged drying cycle for the wash, and spray your carpets and chairs with mix of vinegar and water daily until the problem is solved. Also one or more treatments of Nix as needed. Protect your mattress with plastic and wash your bedding frequently. It took months to sort out the winning combination of using the above, so they finally didn't return, but I've been free for three years now.

A 2010 study indicates that clove oil is effective in erradicating scabies mite!
I have been using it, along with DE topically, and it was very effective.
I've read some criticism stating that it is dangerous. I am allergic to tons of stuff, but the clove oil has not bothered me. It may burn if applied straight. I just keep rubbing more lotion or carrier oil until it is not to uncomfortable.
Google Clove oil study for scabies. I found it at EMax Health.
NOW, having said that, the real cure for me was found in my faith in God. I've prayed for healing for almost a year. I didn't start to improve until I searched for answers in my Bible.
First of all we must have NO unforgiveness in our heart. Seek God in prayer and FAST if you are physically healthy and able. Some can not,...like diabetics and people that are frail with sickness.
Feed on the word of God! I am enjoying my miracle!
