"Almost cured" is not cured! The only true cure for Scabies is a prescription from your doctor for Stromectol aka Ivermectin, and the topical Advantix II Blue which is for dogs and has 40% Permethrin. The oral Stromectol dose is based on your weight (230lbs=24mg) on a empty stomach with lots of water every day for 8-days. Likewise rub undiluted Advantix all over your body scalp to soles of your feet two or three times a day for 8-days. Some people leave their infested living space to stay at a different motel room every night to avoid reinvesting themselves, others managed to clean and vacuum enough to create a Clean Space. Follow these instructions and you will be cured once and for all. I am very disappointed the people on this forum are all over the map with recommendations of unproven remedies by creams, oils and soaps. DO NOT BE MISLED! The time you waste on these unqualified remedies only serves to allow the mites to reproduce and spread the infestation over your body making you more miserable and the problem harder to cure! Yes, the Stromectol tablets and Advantix II Blue are very expensive but combined they are the only absolute cure! You can buy Advantix II Blue at Petsmart or online at Petmeds.com . This is not a spam, I had a severe case of Scabies and tried most of the remedies mentioned on this forum but they didn't cure me, in fact, I wasted lots of money and my condition became worse. Doctors, even Infectious Dicease Specialists do not know how to cure Scabies. I saw eight doctors and was mislead every time. I am cured and do not need to be here but I want to help you because no one helped me!

There you are again bitten1,
well it looks like you have used Lice B Gone for 24 days between your posts.
Are you using Lice B Gone every day or what is your regimin? It sounds like you are going to us it for a while longer. I do hope this is your cure.
Are you using it to spray your house and furniture and in your laundry as the other poster has?

I do know that ENZYMES work because I used an enzyme product.
Arabella wrote:
Enzymes work.

For the scalp (I had lots of crusty bites): Dilute one part enzymes (Safe Solutions or Kleen Free) to five times water. Add some pure liquid soap--a tablespoon or two--in a large plastic spray bottle. Wash and dry the hair. If your hair is long, lower your head forward and spray into the roots. Massage thoroughly into the scalp, remembering that the mites are down among the hair follicles. Put saran wrap around your head, then wrap with a towel. Leave on for two hours (unless it irritates too much). Shampoo out. Repeat several times a day. This may hurt-itch, but the enzymes really can't harm you. After 7 days of this, also treating your body and bedding and clothing, lice should be gone.

Use the same spray bottle on your plastic mattress and pillow covers. Spray your whole body after a shower (don't bother with baths), when partially dry, and rub it into your skin. Let yourself air dry. Whenever your skin itches, spray enzymes all over and rub in.

She mentioned Clean Free / I have read where many posters have used the product with good results.
When I spoke to someone at that web site .. I was told that I should use the newer, more potent product:'Clean Green Naturally'.
I have used 2-gallons of this product.
My problem is that I am a little afraid of the word enzyme, for no good reason.
& this 2-gallons was over a 2-year period.
I allowed myself to get side tracked into using several other caustic products that were very painful to experience.
In retrospect, I wish that I had stuck with the enzyme product and used it extensively.
I think if I had done so I would be a lot better off now.
I am trying to decide if I am going to try the Lice B Gone or order the Clean Green again.
I'm having a little problem with the thought of the stickiness & the sugar cane info.
But, just maybe that is the thing that is making it so effective. so, here I go again .. with my imagination: but wouldn't all the bugs or ? ever make a B-line for your bod and just hang on with all of that sugar spread on your on you and on the carpet and furniture?:D
(I know, what a nut case.)
If I would quit thinking about things .. I could probably get well.
What do you think ... anyone.
Thanks, and please keep posting.

Hi Imcc and Ippon, yes I'm still using LiceBGone, it's amazing, I luv the woman who started this post, she is right on, and got put down for it, some people here are such losers! On my previous post I was judged as nuts, spammer, and clueless, truely amazing people here, it's like they have nothing else to do but be jerks or use the site to (spam/sell) there products that don't even work. Whatever! As for the enzymes I think LiceBGone actually has enzymes in it, it is strong but I had the same problem as Arabella, it was hard to get them out of my hair, I have very long hair and the LiceBGone makes your hair stiff and tangle so I used 80%clove oil w 20%sweet almond oil and just kept using it cause you know I'm paranoid...lol, I don't want these f---ers to come back. Take care ;)

Oh, I almost forgot, when I first started using LiceBGone it was so strong, and I might have used too much, but I got a rash, I have sensitive skin, that's why I don't like the clove oil even though it does work, anyway... I put Desitin Maximum Strength Paste on my rash, it's the only thing I could think of to use, and my rash went away and I had a scabies bump, I'm sure it's like a little city of scabies, anyway, when I wiped the Desitin off the bump came off too, it was kind of gross and weird cause where the bump was is now a concave crater and it just healed and I used it on a few more bumps and the same thing happened, I don't know if it's the thickness of the paste or the 40% zinc oxide, I hope some of you try it and tell me what you think cause it kind of weird but it could be a cure, but who really wants to put diaper rash paste all over their body, strange! lol

I also thought Desitin would be worth a try.
I used it many years ago on my babies diaper rashes, with excellent results.
So I have always kept some around for misc. problems.
I put it on my face, and as you know it is thick and sticky ..
& WHITE .. well, I looked like a 'mime' <spelling?) so i couldn't be going out like that. > scarey!
But I don't have scabies (something else, that has a lot of larva)
I'm not sure how much help that was to me, I was using lots of stuff at the time.
The 40% zinc/o should be very good for the problem .. I'm quit sure that nothing could breath under that plaster .. it was very hard to wipe off .. probably why you pulled out the whole darn thing.:D

Bitten `1---

Are you still using Lice B Gone? You never answered the question, instead you switched to talking about CLove Oil and then Desitin. Please are you still using Lice B Gone now and did it cure you?

Did you have a huge reaction 3 or 4 days after commencing Iver?

Here's something important to know about Ivermectin....I had absolutely no reaction to ivermectin manufactured by Merck. But in the beginning I ordered ivermectin from a online pharmacy and it was not made by Merck, with that I became dizzy, my heart raced and I was nausious. Merck is the best. No other reactions.

I had three different rounds of the prescribed Merck ivermectin pills from my doctor & got them at Walgreens. The Merck ones actually gave me a big headache and I felt queasy & fatigued, almost like having the flu. So guess you just never know.

I have taken Stromectol (Ivermectin by Merck) six times, and Ivermectin from India (Scavista) many times.

I would say the side effects were the same for both medicines - lightheadedness and mild headache. They only lasted for a day or two, and were minor.

DH, who only took Stromectol by Merck, always had lightheadedness on the first day, which then faded.

What the heck kind of doses are you taking of Iver? I used the horse paste stuff and had no side effects as far as I could tell.

The difference in quantity between a sufficient dosage and a toxic quantity is *huge*, so I am surprised to hear of side effects.

Lice B Gone sounds like a bunch of hogwash/snake oil. I'd like to see a true listing of its ingredients rather than something so vague as "plant enzymes". How about listing what plants are used, to avoid potential allergic reactions?

I don't think anyone is saying that Ivermectin has bad side effects. It has a few side effects, for some people, they are relatively mild and of short duration.

Considering what a strong drug it is, Ivermectin (in pill form) is very safe; that's according to my doctor.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

So what was the final consensus on Lice B Gone? Did MomOf3 ever come back to tell us if it really worked?

Lice B Gone doesn't cure Scabies. Cold medicine doesn't cure acne!

dont listen to MARY,what ever it is dose not have a clue about anything except on being an ass,you really should go focus on yourself rather than saying typing comments to people when they are suffering,we are all trying to help and have different ideas to help and dont need people like you coming here and making people feel like not coming here again, dont make this an ugly forum just cause you didagree or someone irritates you blah blah blah, just build a bridge and get over it,let it be,its rude and its not called for and in future maybe if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all, geeez didnt your mum teach you that as a child!

I received reports today that one of our friends took a double dose of Stromectol/Ivermectin tablets and while the effects were challenging, the results were impressive.
